Consequently, the pool was reported to be a mosquito haven. A spokesperson said that the area was fumigated during the test event, and should not be an issue in the future.\u00a0By the time Olympic competition begins in August, the pool is expected to be covered and air conditioned, to rectify the situation.<\/p>\n<p>While the Harvard Public Health review has gone so far as t<a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/harvard-public-health-review-2016-rio-olympics-should-be-cancelled-due-to-zika-virus\/\" target=\"_blank\">o say the Rio Olympic Games should be cancelled<\/a>, Olympic organizers are downplaying the issue.
