Fewer than 600 tickets remain for the Trials\u2019 last session on July 3, where the final members of the U.S. Olympic Team will qualify. Also, fans will be treated to special performances from \u201dO\u201d by <i>Cirque du Soleil<\/i>, the aquatic masterpiece seen in Las Vegas.<\/p>\n<p>Tickets are available at $40 and $50 for the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ticketmaster.com\/2016-us-olympic-swim-trials-single-omaha-nebraska-07-03-2016\/event\/06004E90AF8C4C93?artistid=2113746&amp;majorcatid=10005&amp;minorcatid=0&amp;tm_link=search_msg-0_06004E90AF8C4C93\" target=\"_blank\"><span class=\"aBn\" data-term=\"goog_1495866837\"><span class=\"aQJ\">Sunday, July 3<\/span><\/span>, session<\/a>, which starts at <span class=\"aBn\" tabindex=\"0\" data-term=\"goog_1495866842\"><span class=\"aQJ\">6:45 p.m.<\/span><\/span>Central. In addition to the women\u2019s 50-meter freestyle and men\u2019s 1500m freestyle finals, attendees will witness performances from \u201cO\u201d by <i>Cirque du Soleil<\/i>, and a special appearance from FINA World Champion synchronized swimmers Bill May and Christina Jones, who also are artists with the world-renowned entertainment powerhouse.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOmaha continues to raise the bar for attendance at a U.S. swimming championship, and 2016 sales have again exceeded our expectations,\u201d said <b>Mike Unger<\/b>, USA Swimming Assistant Executive Director. \u201cTo have 14 of the 15 sessions sold out this far in advance of the Trials is remarkable. This is a tribute to the Trials and the great athletes competing.\u201d<u><\/u>\u00a0<u><\/u><\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are very excited to welcome \u201cO\u201d by <i>Cirque du Soleil<\/i> and its phenomenal artists to create a memorable final evening for the 2016 Olympic Trials in Omaha,\u201d said <b>Harold Cliff<\/b>, Omaha Sports Commission President. \u201cThe evening will also include the two swimming finals, and there will be a parade of the U.S. Olympic Team going to Rio, so the stars of the Trials will all be in the arena on that final night.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The strong sales guarantee Omaha will set a new American attendance record for a swimming event, with more than 200,000 tickets sold for 2016. In 2012 there were three sold-out sessions and none in 2008. More than 167,000 fans attended the 2012 Olympic Trials in Omaha, up from 160,000-plus spectators in 2008.<\/p>\n<p>Tickets to the 2016 U.S. Olympic Team Trials \u2013 Swimming can be purchased through any Ticketmaster outlet nationwide or online at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ticketmaster.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">ticketmaster.com<\/a>.
