Sarah Kohler<\/strong> claimed the women’s 800-meter freestyle title in a time of 8:22.80. \u00a0That swim was well under the German Olympic selection time of 8:33.33, and moved her up to fourth in the world. \u00a0Only Katie Ledecky<\/strong> (8:06.68), Jessica Ashwood<\/strong> (8:18.42) and Brittany MacLean<\/strong> (8:21.40) have been faster.<\/p>\n

Leonie Black<\/strong> also cleared the German selection time of 8:33.33 with an 8:33.13 for second-place honors.<\/p>\n

Lea Boy<\/strong> wound up taking third in 8:37.82, while Julia Hassler<\/strong> snagged fourth in 8:40.51.<\/p>\n
