Through various instant messaging portals such as Yahoo and AOL, viewers can send their questions directly to our studios, and maybe your question will be posed to the day&#39;s guests!<\/p>\n<p>While we work to improve <i>The Morning Swim Show,<\/i> <a href=http:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/morningswimshow\/>take a look back<\/a> at the shows we brought you in 2008. It all started with a simple black backdrop in mid-January with host Brent Rutemiller giving you the day&#39;s news and interviewing some of the top swimmers and coaches in the world.<\/p>\n<p>In March, <b>Swimming World TV<\/b> and <i>The Morning Swim Show<\/i> were on the deck at the women&#39;s and men&#39;s NCAA swimming and diving championships, streaming the meet live on our website during the prelim and finals sessions and bringing you post-race interviews with each event winner.<\/p>\n<p>In May, Peter Busch joined the show as host and as the Olympics approached, we interviewed many Olympic hopefuls, from Matt Grevers and Amanda Beard to Chloe Sutton and Mark Warkentin. <b>Swimming World TV<\/b> took a camera to the U.S. Olympic Swimming Trials to bring you interviews with newly-minted Olympians and coaches.<\/p>\n<p>For the first time in the history of <i>The Morning Swim Show<\/i>, we were with you for nine straight days as we brought you insight into the most exciting Olympics in history. We also took you back to the past with interviews with Olympic champions such as Janet Evans, Mike O&#39;Brien, Adrian Moorehouse and Melissa Belote Ripley.<\/p>\n<p>Also, Brent Rutemiller brought us a travelogue called <i>To Beijing and Back. <\/i><a href=http:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/2008Olympics\/>take a look back<\/a> as he visited the Great Wall of China and other historical places in Beijing.<\/p>\n<p>As the onslaught of world records continued after the Olympics, we were there to bring you interviews with some of the stars making headlines on the FINA World Cup circuit. Ous Mellouli talked about getting back into competition so quickly after winning gold in Beijing. Peter Marshall gave us some insight into his unique approach to setting world records in two different countries on the circuit and Paul Biedermann talked about breaking Ian Thorpe&#39;s 200 free short course meters world record.<\/p>\n<p>As the year ended, we brought you interviews from the Golden Goggles and talked to the best high school and college swimmers in the United States.
