Swimmers ages 14-15 will compete a 5K, while 16-17 year olds race a 7.5 K, and those in the 18-19 age division swim a 10K.<\/p>\n<p>For the women,\u00a0<strong>Hayler Pike<\/strong>\u00a0of the Razorback Aquatics<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>Eliot Kennedy\u00a0<\/strong>of Waves Bloomington will compete in the 5K. Pike&#8217;s older sister\u00a0<strong>Taylor Pike\u00a0<\/strong>will join Bolles&#8217;\u00a0<strong>Kensey McMahon\u00a0<\/strong>in the 7.5K. Razorback coach\u00a0<strong>Todd Mann\u00a0<\/strong>is the team&#8217;s assistant coach.<\/p>\n<p>Swim Florida&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Kendall Brent\u00a0<\/strong>and Davis Arden Racing Team&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Chenoa Devine\u00a0<\/strong>will represent the US in the women&#8217;s 10K.<\/p>\n<p>For the men,\u00a0<strong>Ivan Puskovitch\u00a0<\/strong>from Episcopal Academy Aquatics\u00a0will be the sole representative in the 5K.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Simon Lamar\u00a0<\/strong>of FAST\u00a0and Golden West&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Michael Brinegar\u00a0<\/strong>will compete in the 7.5K. Nitro&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Taylor Abbott\u00a0<\/strong>and Sandpipers of Nevada&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Riley Molina\u00a0<\/strong>will be in the 10K.\u00a0<strong>Ron Aitken<\/strong>, also of Sandpipers of Nevada, will serve as the team&#8217;s head coach.<\/p>\n<p>The US team was selected base on results from the 2016 USA Swimming <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/ashley-twichell-wins-10k-open-water-national-title-2\/\" target=\"_blank\">Open Water National Championships<\/a> held earlier this month.<\/p>\n<p><em>USA Swimming contributed to this report.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Today USA Swimming announced a roster of 11\u00a0swimmers who will compete in the 2016 FINA World Junior Open Water Championships.
