The Iron Lady swam the world&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/katinka-hosszu-posts-2nd-best-400-im-in-world-432-33\/\" target=\"_blank\">second best 400 IM<\/a>\u00a0in Mesa\u00a0earlier this month, and continues to be a dominant force heading into Rio. <strong>Lili\u00e1na Szil\u00e1gyi<\/strong>, who <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/youth-olympic-games-day-two-finals-live-recap\/\">impressed<\/a> at the 2014 Youth Olympics, is also on the team.<\/p>\n<p>The rest of the women&#8217;s\u00a0roster includes\u00a0<strong>Kata Burj\u00e1n, R\u00e9ka Gy\u00f6rgy, , Zsuzsanna Jakabos, Ad\u00e9l Juh\u00e1sz, Bogl\u00e1rka Kap\u00e1s, Ajna K\u00e9sely, \u00c9va Risztov, Dalma Sebesty\u00e9n, <\/strong>and<strong> Evelyn Verraszt\u00f3.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>On the men&#8217;s side, Hungary will be represented by 20 swimmers.<strong> L\u00e1szl\u00f3 Cseh<\/strong>, who led the world in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/laszlo-cseh-skyrockets-to-top-of-world-rankings-in-100-fly\/\">100 fly last year<\/a>, is a leader in this group.<\/p>\n<p>The other 19 swimmers are <strong>G\u00e1bor Balog, P\u00e9ter Bernek, Bence Bicz\u00f3, Rich\u00e1rd Bohus, G\u00e1bor Financsek, D\u00e1vid F\u00f6ldh\u00e1zi, Benj\u00e1min Gr\u00e1tz, Gergely Gyurta, P\u00e9ter Holoda, D\u00e1vid Horv\u00e1th, Tam\u00e1s Kenderesi, Gerg\u0151 Kis, Dominik Kozma, Bence Pulai, Krist\u00f3f Rasovszky, Kriszti\u00e1n Tak\u00e1cs, \u00c1d\u00e1m Telegdy, D\u00e1vid Verraszt\u00f3 <\/strong>and<strong> Bal\u00e1zs Z\u00e1mb\u00f3.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The European Championships begin in London on May 9.<\/p>\n<p><em>The WSCA contributed to this report.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Hungarian Swimming Federation announced the 31 swimmers the nation will send to the 2016 European Championships.
