The agreement, which marks the first partnership of its kind for the U.S. Paralympics Swimming Team, names arena as the official supplier of swimsuits for Team USA athletes over the duration of the contract, including the upcoming Rio 2016 Paralympic Games in September.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are thrilled to have arena as our official team supplier for the swimming team,\u201d said Rick Adams, chief of Paralympic sport and NGB organizational development. \u201cOur team is excited to not only wear the arena brand, but to know they have the support of a great company behind them as they look to compete in Rio and beyond.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>For arena, the new partnership signifies the company\u2019s commitment to grow swimming at all levels. The three-diamond brand is currently the official sponsor and technical partner of FINA as well as 23 national federations and governing bodies worldwide, including the exclusive outfitter to the USA Swimming National Team.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is a really important agreement for us, and we\u2019re honored to have been selected by U.S. Paralympics Swimming as their partner,\u201d said Steve Ozmai, Marketing Director of arena North America. \u201cAs a company, we\u2019ve always been dedicated to growing the sport across the board, and to give every swimmer \u2013 from the Olympian to the beginner and everyone in between \u2013 the best opportunity to express themselves and their water instinct, whatever their goals. We are looking forward to working hand in hand with Team USA to help them perform at their very best come Rio in September, and in the longer term becoming a key partner in seeing the Paralympic swimming movement flourish in the U.S.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The selection of arena by U.S. Paralympics is a reflection of the leadership role the company plays in elite technical racing, as well as the broad range of product expertise it brings to the sport of swimming. With an expansive array of styles, technologies, and performance levels to choose from, the company\u2019s aim is to provide every swimmer with the best suit for their own physical needs, sporting goals, and personal preferences. This focus on the custom needs of every individual athlete is a trait that has characterized arena\u2019s modus operandi for over 40 years, propelling the company to the pinnacle of their field, most recently with its breakthrough carbon technology, which over the past several years has outfitted more medal winners at the world\u2019s leading competitions than any other brand.<\/p>\n<p>Under the terms of the agreement with U.S. Paralympics, national team swimmers will have the opportunity to compete in arena\u2019s top-level technology including the newly released Powerskin Carbon Ultra. The 2016 U.S. Paralympic Team Trials \u2013 Swimming will take place from <span class=\"aBn\" tabindex=\"0\" data-term=\"goog_798295296\"><span class=\"aQJ\">June 30 to July 2<\/span><\/span> in Charlotte, North Carolina, with the U.S. Team for the Rio Paralympics being selected on the results of the trials.<\/p>\n<p><strong>About Arena<\/strong><br \/>\nSince 1973, arena has created and marketed waterwear products for competitive swimmers and swimming fans worldwide, and is universally recognised as one of the premium brands of high quality swimwear and equipment.
