He will join a\u00a0SwimMAC Team Elite program that has seen significant success. The 34 year old will have the opportunity to train alongside fellow sprint Olympian\u00a0<strong>Cullen Jones<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ryan Lochte<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Jimmy Feigen<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Roy Burch<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Tyler Clary<\/strong>, and\u00a0<strong>Tim Phillips\u00a0<\/strong>are other elite men who call the pro group in Charlotte home.<\/p>\n<p>Ervin competed two weeks ago at the Arena Pro Swim Series in Mesa where he <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/mens-50-freestyle\/\" target=\"_blank\">finished second<\/a> in the 50 freestyle. He&#8217;ll be looking to make his third Olympic Games at Trials beginning June 26.<\/p>\n<p>Ervin had most recently been training at University of Southern California, and had been at Cal before that.<\/p>\n<h3>Ervin&#8217;s announcement:<\/h3>\n<p>\u201cThis swimming odyssey sweeps me away again, moving forward as I journey homeward. My sojourn in Los Angeles has been rewarding with family, good friends, good teammates, and good training. I\u2019m going to miss coaching the college kids, of being able to watch them develop into graduates, but I firmly believe they will be fine.<\/p>\n<p>For now to Charlotte to rest under my parents\u2019 roof, hang with my little brother (and recently proud papa), and train with the coach of coaches, David Marsh, and his crew.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Two time Olympian\u00a0Anthony Ervin\u00a0is headed to SwimMAC, he announced on his Facebook page today.
