Aleksandr Sadovnikov<\/strong> picked up another fast time with a swift effort in the men’s 100-meter fly at the 2016 Russian Nationals.<\/p>\n

Sadovnikov won the finale in a time of 51.50, moving him to fifth in the world. \u00a0Li Zhuhao<\/strong> (51.24), Konrad Czerniak<\/strong> (51.31), Laszlo Cseh<\/strong> (51.40) and Piero Codia<\/strong> (51.42) are the only swimmers faster so far this year.<\/p>\n

Evgeny Koptelov<\/strong>, meanwhile posted a second-place 52.05 to also beat the Russian Olympic selection time for a spot on the Olympic roster.<\/p>\n

Nikita Konovalov<\/strong> (52.17), Alexander Popkov<\/strong> (52.25), Viacheslav Prudnikov<\/strong> (52.61), Daniil Pakhomov<\/strong> (52.67), Nikolay Skvortsov<\/strong> (52.76) and Roman Shevliakov<\/strong> (52.91) closed out the rest of the finals.<\/p>\n
