ASCHWIN Wildeboer provided the swimming community with its 108th world record of 2008 when he downed the short course meter global standard in the 100 back as part of a 400 medley relay.<\/p>\n<p>Wildeboer clocked a swift time of 49.20 to lead the team of Aschwin Wildeboer, Sergio Garcis, Olaf Wildeboer and Eduard Lorente to a winning time of 3:30.90.<\/p>\n<p>Wildeboer&#39;s effort surpassed the 49.32 set by Russia&#39;s Stanislav Donets at the European Short Course Championships last weekend.<\/p>\n<p>Wildeboer took out his leadoff time in 23.30 and came back in 25.90, while Donets went out in 23.71 and came back in 25.61.<\/p>\n<p><i>Special thanks to Oene Rusticus for contributing to this report.<\/i><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>MADRID, Spain, December 21.
