Women’s 100 breast<\/strong><\/p>\n

Siobhan-Marie O’Connor<\/strong> clinched another FINA A cut with a win in the women’s 100-meter breast.<\/p>\n

O’Connor, who already shot to second in the world in the women’s 200-meter IM to secure a spot on the Olympic roster yesterday<\/a>, took the 100 breast title in 1:07.15. That put her 17th in the world overall, bettering her 1:07.19 from prelims.<\/p>\n

Sarah Vasey<\/strong> placed second in a time of 1:07.50, under the FINA A cut but still up to Britain’s convoluted selection process on whether or not she will be picked up for Rio.<\/p>\n

Chloe Tutton<\/strong> (1:07.61), Molly Renshaw<\/strong> (1:08.34), Corrie Scott<\/strong> (1:08.70), Kathryn Johnstone<\/strong> (1:09.41), Rachael Wilson<\/strong> (1:09.42) and Katie Matts<\/strong> (1:09.44) also swam in the finale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Men’s 200 back<\/strong><\/p>\n

Luke Greenbank<\/strong> charged to a 1:57.79 to win the men’s 200-meter backstroke tonight. \u00a0That swim was well off the British Olympic qualifying time of 1:55.13 to secure a spot on the Olympic squad.<\/p>\n

Xavier Mohammed<\/strong> claimed second overall in a time of 1:58.47 with Craig McNally<\/strong> taking third in 1:58.63.<\/p>\n

Joseph Patching<\/strong> (1:58.88), Joseph Hulme<\/strong> (2:00.73), Brodie Williams<\/strong> (2:01.30), Elliot Clogg<\/strong> (2:01.68) and Callum Barrett<\/strong> (2:02.54) also put up times in the finale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Women’s 100 fly<\/strong><\/p>\n

Alys Thomas<\/strong> won the women’s 100-meter fly title with a time of 58.66, which was well off the British Olympic qualifying time of 57.44.<\/p>\n

Rachael Kelly<\/strong> (58.72) and Jemma Lowe<\/strong> (58.89) made up a close top-three finish tonight as well.<\/p>\n

Siobhan-Marie O’Connor<\/strong>, doubling off from a 100 breast win, took fourth in 59.45.<\/p>\n

Laura Stephens<\/strong> (1:00.15), Emily Large<\/strong> (1:00.16), Tazmin Pugh<\/strong> (1:00.43) and Charlotte Atkinson<\/strong> (1:00.64) also competed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Men’s 200 free<\/strong><\/p>\n

James Guy<\/strong> surged to the top of the world in the men’s 200-meter free with a British Olympic qualifying time at the 2016 British Nationals.<\/p>\n

Guy clocked in with a 1:45.19, just missing his own British record of 1:45.14 from the 2015 World Championships.<\/p>\n

That swim shot him ahead of Kosuke Hagino’s<\/strong> 1:45.50 from the Japanese Championships in the world rankings, and beat the British Olympic qualifying time of 1:45.91.<\/p>\n

Stephen Milne<\/strong> (1:47.15), Robert Renwick<\/strong> (1:47.23) and Duncan Scott<\/strong> (1:47.31) set themselves up for potential relay duty in the men’s 800-meter free relay.<\/p>\n

Cameron Kurle<\/strong> (1:47.82), Ieuan Lloyd<\/strong> (1:48.23), Daniel Wallace<\/strong> (1:48.50) and Nicholas Grainger<\/strong> (1:48.53) also competed in the finale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
