Washington's Last Time Out:<\/b>
\nWashington suffered a pair of losses to Pac-10 foe Stanford. The men took a 134-70 loss, while the women's fell to Stanford, 143-114.<\/p>\n
Looking forward with Washington's head coach Whitney Hite:<\/b>
\nI am really excited about going back to Texas, and having the Huskies swim against my alma mater. We're looking forward to some good races, and competing at a high level. Both Texas' men's and women's teams are elite programs and we're looking forward to the opportunity to compete against the best.<\/i><\/p>\n
Texas' Last Time Out:<\/b>
\nTexas swept a two-day tri meet over Indiana and Michigan held in Ann Arbor, Mich. The women topped Indiana, 211-178, while beating Michigan, 259-130. The men, meanwhile also swept with victories over Michigan (221.5-166.5) and Indiana (209-153).<\/p>\n
Looking forward with Texas' head women's coach Kim Brackin:<\/b>
\nWe're looking forward to racing with the Huskies. Whitney has a strong group of young women with quite a bit of versatility. I know they are on their way down to the A&M Invite, so I expect they'll be very ready to race. Our women are excited to compete at home, and mix up a few events.<\/i><\/p>\n
Looking forward with Texas' assistant men's coach Kris Kubik:<\/b>
\nThe University of Washington is one of the most rapidly rising programs in NCAA men's swimming. Coach Whitney Hite and his assistant, Tom Hannan, both had great Longhorn careers as athletes, and the future looks very bright for the Huskies. We expect to see outstanding technique from their swimmers, and in some respects, see a mirror image of our program due to their Longhorn ties.<\/i><\/p>\n
