Women’s 200 IM<\/strong><\/p>\n

Katinka<\/strong> Hosszu<\/strong>, the world leader in the event,\u00a0<\/strong>posted a 2:11.06 this morning, the tenth fastest time in the world this season.\u00a0Ella Eastin\u00a0<\/strong>continued her string of impressive IMs, touching in 2:12.97 this morning to take second.\u00a0Melanie Margalis\u00a0<\/strong>finished third in 2:13.73 while\u00a0Maya Dirado\u00a0<\/strong>was fourth with a 2:13.84.<\/p>\n

Madisyn Cox<\/strong> (2:14.11),\u00a0Kirsty Coventry\u00a0<\/strong>(2:14.32),\u00a0Sarah Henry\u00a0<\/strong>(2:15.29), and\u00a0Caitlin Leverenz\u00a0<\/strong>(2:15.32) also qualified for tonight’s A final.<\/p>\n

Men’s 200 IM<\/strong><\/p>\n

Chase Kalisz\u00a0<\/strong>fought his training partner to the end and out touched\u00a0Michael Phelps\u00a0<\/strong>2:01.56 to 2:01.68 to take the top seed in tonight’s 200 IM.<\/p>\n

Gunnar Bentz\u00a0<\/strong>returns third tonight in 2:02.57.\u00a0Andrew Seliskar\u00a0<\/strong>(2:02.81),\u00a0David Nolan\u00a0<\/strong>(2:02.98), and\u00a0Max Williamson\u00a0<\/strong>(2:03.16) are the fourth through sixth seeds.<\/p>\n

Ryan Lochte\u00a0<\/strong>appeared to shut it down at the end and finished in 2:03.19 for seventh.\u00a0Sean Grieshop\u00a0<\/strong>(2:04.98)\u00a0also qualified for the A final after\u00a0Nolan Tesone\u00a0<\/strong>(2:04.62) drew a DQ.<\/p>\n

Women’s 200 Back<\/strong><\/p>\n

Katinka Hosszu\u00a0<\/strong>took her second top seed in as many events this morning with a 2:11.88. Kirsty Coventry\u00a0<\/strong>also qualified for a second A final tonight with a 2:12.45.\u00a0Maya Dirado\u00a0<\/strong>was on her heels, also completing\u00a0the tough double\u00a0with a 2:12.46.<\/p>\n

Kaitlin Harty\u00a0<\/strong>(2:12.68),\u00a0Erin Earley<\/strong> (2:14.46), Halime Zeren<\/strong> (2:!4.81), Melanie Klaren<\/strong> (2:15.00), and Matea Samardzic<\/strong> (2:15.10) will compete in tonight’s A final.<\/p>\n

Men’s 200 Back<\/strong><\/p>\n

Sean Lehane\u00a0<\/strong>dominated his heat, and the entire field in prelims action. Lehane posted a 1:59.06 to return tonight as the top seed.\u00a0Ryan Lochte\u00a0<\/strong>cruised to a 2:01.31 for second.\u00a0Omar Pinzon\u00a0<\/strong>finished third in 2:01.52.<\/p>\n

Connor Green\u00a0<\/strong>(2:02.61),\u00a0Chase Kalisz\u00a0<\/strong>(2:03.30),\u00a0Bryce Mefford\u00a0<\/strong>(2:04.18),\u00a0Drew Cosgarea\u00a0<\/strong>(2:04.46), and\u00a0Nolan Tesone\u00a0<\/strong>(2:04.65) will also race in tonight’s A final.<\/p>\n

Women’s 100 Freestyle<\/strong><\/p>\n

Simone Manuel\u00a0<\/strong>tied the 16th fastest time in the world this year with a 53.93 in the 100 freestyle. She will return tonight as the top seed.\u00a0Abby Weitzeil\u00a0<\/strong>was second in 54.23 and\u00a0Dana Vollmer\u00a0<\/strong>finished third in 54.73.\u00a0KElis Worrell\u00a0<\/strong>also cracked 55 with a 54.80 to touch fourth this morning.<\/p>\n

Amanda Weir\u00a0<\/strong>(55.00),\u00a0Lia Neal\u00a0<\/strong>(55.06),\u00a0Katie Ledecky\u00a0<\/strong>(55.17), and\u00a0Margo Geer\u00a0<\/strong>(55.40) also swam in tonight’s A final.<\/p>\n

Allison Schmitt\u00a0<\/strong>(55.51) and last night’s 50 champion\u00a0Madison Kennedy\u00a0<\/strong>(55.61) will swim in tonight’s B final along with\u00a0Katinka Hosszu\u00a0<\/strong>(55.65).<\/p>\n

Men’s 100 Free<\/strong><\/p>\n

This morning Nathan Adrian\u00a0<\/strong>posted the world’s eighth fastest 100 free of the season, just .01 off his eight ranked time from the Orlando stop of the Pro Series. Adrian touched in 48.06 to lead qualifying by 1.62 seconds.<\/p>\n

Christian Quintero\u00a0<\/strong>touched second in 49.68 and\u00a0Ryan Lochte\u00a0<\/strong>was third in 49.78.\u00a0Conor Dwyer\u00a0<\/strong>(49.89) and\u00a0Michael Chadwick\u00a0<\/strong>(49.96) were also under\u00a050 seconds.<\/p>\n

Jimmy Feigen\u00a0<\/strong>finished sixth\u00a0in 50.07 while\u00a0Matias Koski\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0Daniel Ramirez\u00a0<\/strong>tied for seventh in 50.28.<\/p>\n
