THE No. 1-ranked Texas men&#39;s swimming and diving team captured nine of 13 events to defeat No. 9 Michigan, 127.5-113.5, on Saturday at the Canham Natatorium In Ann Arbor. Texas is now 1-0 this season, while Michigan falls to 1-1 in dual action.<\/p>\n<p>Texas Freshman Ian Crocker (Portland, Maine) paced the Longhorns, capturing the 100-yard freestyle with an NCAA consideration time of 44.85. He also swam on the winning 200 medley relay with teammates junior Joey<br \/>\nMontague (Houston, Texas), freshman Brendan Hansen (Havertown, Pa.) and junior Leffie Crawford (Pacifica, Calif.) in a time of 1:30.65.<\/p>\n<p>Also posting NCAA consideration times were sophomore Chris Kemp (Southlake, Texas), who touched first in the 200 freestyle (1:38.08) and junior Tommy Hannan (Baltimore, Md.), who won the 200 IM (1:49.93).<br \/>\nMontague captured the 200 butterfly (1:49.49), while senior Nate Dusing (Villa Hills, Ky.) finished first in the 200 backstroke with a time of 1:46.82.<\/p>\n<p>Texas junior Justin Dumais (Ventura, Calif.) swept the diving events, winning the one-meter (302.70) and three-meter springboard events (375.45).  <\/p>\n<p>Chris Thompson was a double winner for Michigan, winning the 1000 free in a swift 9:00.40 and the 500 in 4:27.02.
