{"id":195343,"date":"2016-04-14T12:29:41","date_gmt":"2016-04-14T19:29:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/?p=195343"},"modified":"2016-04-14T12:29:41","modified_gmt":"2016-04-14T19:29:41","slug":"viktor-bromer-rikke-moller-pedersen-with-fina-a-cuts-in-denmark","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/viktor-bromer-rikke-moller-pedersen-with-fina-a-cuts-in-denmark\/","title":{"rendered":"Viktor Bromer, Rikke Moller Pedersen With FINA A Cuts in Denmark"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Viktor Bromer<\/strong> and <strong>Rikke Moller Pedersen<\/strong> each clocked FINA A cuts at the 2016 Danish Open.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Viktor Bromer<\/strong> hit the FINA A cut in the men&#8217;s 200-meter fly on the head with a 1:56.97 to win the event. \u00a0The swim also pushed him to 14th in the world rankings.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Magnus Sloth Poulsen<\/strong> finished second in a time of 2:02.13 with <strong>Mikkel-Emil Rosenbom<\/strong> placing third overall in 2:04.43.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Rikke Moller Pedersen<\/strong> won the women&#8217;s 100-meter breast in 1:07.58, clearing the FINA A cut of 1:07.85. \u00a0<strong>Anouk Elzerman<\/strong> (1:10.19) and<strong> Josefine Pedersen<\/strong> (1:10.90) placed second and third.<\/p>\n<p><strong>George Bovell<\/strong> of Trinidad and Tobago won the men&#8217;s 50-meter free in a time of 22.79. \u00a0<strong>Andreas Schiellerup<\/strong> finished second in 22.91 with <strong>Anders Lie<\/strong> earning third in 22.93.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Katrine Bukh Villesen<\/strong> earned the women&#8217;s 400-meter IM crown in 4:53.62. <strong>\u00a0Helena Rosendahl<\/strong> took second in 4:58.94 with <strong>Katrine Hansen<\/strong> snagging third in 5:00.42.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Frans Johannessen<\/strong> won the men&#8217;s 200-meter IM in 2:05.31. <strong>\u00a0Andreas Elmgreen<\/strong> (2:07.12) and <strong>Daniel Christian<\/strong> (2:07.13) battled for second.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Emilie Beckmann<\/strong> claimed the women&#8217;s 50-meter fly in 25.96 with <strong>Amalie Mikkelsen<\/strong> taking second in 27.10. \u00a0<strong>Caroline Erichsen<\/strong> wound up third in 27.44.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Oli Mortensen<\/strong> won the men&#8217;s 800-meter free in 8:10.94 with <strong>Viktor Holm<\/strong> taking second in 8:16.42. <strong>Mads Holm<\/strong> rounded out the top three in 8:22.81.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\/results\/2016-danish-open-day-2\/international-elite\/2016\/April\/13\" target=\"_blank\">2016 Danish Open: Day 2 &#8211; Results<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Viktor Bromer and Rikke Moller Pedersen each clocked FINA A cuts at the 2016 Danish Open.
