The 19 year old turned in a 14:39.54.<\/p>\n<p>That swim is only five seconds slower than the legendary\u00a0<strong>Grant Hackett<\/strong>&#8216;s 14:24.56 Commonwealth record. It also moved Horton to first in the world this year, just ahead of Italy&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Gregorio Paltrinieri\u00a0<\/strong>in 14:40.61.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Jack McLoughlin\u00a0<\/strong>had a massive 33 second drop to earn an Olympic berth. The 21 year old raced to a 14:48.60, which moves him to third in the world this year. McLoughlin was previously outside the top 20.<\/p>\n<p>Third place went to\u00a0<strong>Jordan Harrison\u00a0<\/strong>in 15:18.92.<\/p>\n<pre><b>                    === Finals ===
