clinched a spot on the Olympic roster.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Emily Seebohm<\/strong>, meanwhile, grabbed second-place honors with a 2:06.59 as she also made the Olympic team in the event. \u00a0Both swimmers cleared <strong>Madison Wilson&#8217;s<\/strong> previously top-ranked time of 2:07.18 from the Victoria State Championships.<\/p>\n<p>Wilson finished a disappointing fifth in 2:08.93, while<strong> Sian Whittaker<\/strong> (2:07.47) and <strong>Minna Atherton<\/strong> (2:08.23) took third and fourth. \u00a0Whittaker moved to fifth in the world with Atherton taking eighth overall.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Mikkayla Sheridan<\/strong> (2:11.02) and <strong>Keryn McMaster<\/strong> (2:13.51) finished sixth and seventh with <strong>Amy Forrester<\/strong> drawing a Ledecky<\/strong> with a stunning 8:06.68 at the Austin stop of the Arena Pro Swim Series.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tamsin Cook<\/strong> finished second tonight in 8:27.01, just off the Australian Olympic qualifying cut of 8:26.96.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Kareena Lee<\/strong> finished third in 8:31.06, while<strong> Kiah Melverton<\/strong> took fourth in 8:31.57.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Moesha Johnson<\/strong> the 50-100-200 frees at the Australian Nationals.<\/p>\n<p>Following wins in the 100 and 200 earlier in the week, McEvoy surged to victory in the splash-and-dash with a 21.44. \u00a0That&#8217;s the second-ranked swim of the year behind <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/defending-olympic-champion-florent-manaudou-blasts-21-42-in-50-free-in-france\/\" target=\"_blank\">only <strong>Florent Manaudou&#8217;s<\/strong> 21.42<\/a> from the French Championships. \u00a0It&#8217;s also not far <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/ais-long-course-international-ashley-callus-twice-lowers-australian-record-in-50-free\/\" target=\"_blank\">behind <strong>Ashley Callus&#8217;<\/strong> Australian record of 21.19<\/a> from the techsuit-fueled 2009.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Matt Abood<\/strong> finished second in 22.08, just off the Australian Olympic qualifying time of 22.02.<\/p>\n<p><strong>James Magnussen<\/strong> missed out completely on making an individual swim at the Rio Olympics with a third-place 22.12.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Andrew Abood<\/strong> (22.14),<strong> Will Stockwell<\/strong> (22.17), <strong>James Roberts<\/strong> (22.22), <strong>David Morgan<\/strong> (22.52) and <strong>Kenneth To<\/strong> (22.55) claimed the rest of the 23.93 in the women&#8217;s splash-and-dash. \u00a0Only <strong>Britta Steffen<\/strong> (23.73) and <strong>Therese Alshammar<\/strong> (23.88) have been faster as Campbell broke a tie with <strong>Fran Halsall<\/strong> for the world&#8217;s textile best of 23.96 that had previous stood as Campbell&#8217;s Australian record.<\/p>\n<p>Campbell&#8217;s time is the first under 24 this year, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/watch-sarah-sjostrom-nearly-set-50-free-u-s-open-record-in-austin\/\" target=\"_blank\">clearing <strong>Sarah Sjostrom&#8217;s<\/strong> 24.17 from the Austin stop of the Arena Pro Swim Series<\/a> as the top time in the world this year.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Bronte Campbell<\/strong> qualified second in 24.27 to move to fourth in the world behind Halsall&#8217;s 24.23 from the Golden Tour.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Shayna Jack<\/strong> (24.87),<strong> Brittany Elmslie<\/strong> (24.92), <strong>Holly Barratt<\/strong> (25.34), <strong>Yolane
