Charging\u00a0past the second place finisher in the last 10 meters of the race, she was determined to bring<br \/>\nhome a win. Touching just before the rest of the stacked international pack, Ashley proved that\u00a0nothing will stop her from making it to the top. With this recent win under her belt, she continues\u00a0to build confidence and momentum heading into pool Olympic trials.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<span style=\"color: #339966;\">I&#8217;ve been focusing more on the pool this season, so to come in and win against an international\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"color: #339966;\">star studded\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"color: #339966;\">field was really exciting,\u201d<\/span> began <strong>Twichell<\/strong>. <span style=\"color: #339966;\">\u201cThe six women placing 2nd 7th\u00a0behind\u00a0me will all be competing in the 10K in Rio, all with a high likelihood of being medalists. I took a\u00a0bit of a risk by leading for the majority of the race, but was still able to find another gear that last\u00a0300 meters.
