Lindenwood also took second with 150.5189 points. The Pirouettes of Texas placed third with 131.2487 total points.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Mary Killman\u00a0<\/strong>led Lindenwood University. She compiled 165.53 points to earn the solo championship on her 25th birthday. This win was Killman&#8217;s fifth straight national title and tied the record for most solo titles in United States history. Killman has been undefeated in the past six seasons.<\/p>\n<p>In the senior duet, Killman combined with\u00a0<strong>Vasilisa Mironova\u00a0<\/strong>to score 164.055 points and secure the national title. Ohio State&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Emma Baranski\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>Monica Velazazqez-Stiak\u00a0<\/strong>were runner ups with 157.0976 points. Lindenwood rounded out the top three with the duet of\u00a0<strong>Irene Beaus\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>Laia Pons\u00a0<\/strong>earning 154.4390 points.<\/p>\n<p>This was Lindenwood&#8217;s first clean sweep of the solo and duet titles, as the team earned six of the eight possible medals. After today, Killman is retiring from synchronized swimming.<\/p>\n<p>Coach\u00a0<strong>Lori Eaton\u00a0<\/strong>was named the Coach of the Year, the second straight honor for the Lindenwood University\u00a0coach.<\/p>\n<h2>Juniors<\/h2>\n<p>The Santa Clara Aquamaids won the Junior (15-18) title with 77.1667 points. The team swept the Solo performances as\u00a0<strong>Nicole Dzurko\u00a0<\/strong>scored 78.5333 points,\u00a0<strong>Jacklyn Luu\u00a0<\/strong>totaled 77.5 points, and\u00a0<strong>Rachel Lau\u00a0<\/strong>earned 76.3333.<\/p>\n<p>In the duets, the Aquamaids&#8217;\u00a0<strong>Hyowon\u00a0<\/strong>and Luu won the national title with 78.6 points and their teammates Dzurko and\u00a0<strong>Natalia Vega\u00a0<\/strong>placed second with 77.4333 points. Optima Synchro&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Caitlin Klauer\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>Lindi Schroeder\u00a0<\/strong>finished third (75.1667).<\/p>\n<p>Overall, the Walnut Creek Aquanuts were second in juniors with 75.3667 points, ahead of third place Arizona Desert Dolphins with 72.9333 points.<\/p>\n<h2>13-15<\/h2>\n<p>In the youngest age division, the Santa Clara Aquamaids were again victorious, this time with 74.2667 points. The team also finished third with 71.05 points. Walnut Creek was also runner up in this division with 72.35 points.<\/p>\n<p>Optima&#8217;s Schroeder was the solo champion with a score of 73.7667. Santa Clara&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Hailee Heinrich\u00a0<\/strong>was second with 73.5667 points and Walnut Creek&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Yara Elian\u00a0<\/strong>rounded out the top three with a score of 73.0333.<\/p>\n<p>Santa Clara took the top two spots in duets. Heinrich and\u00a0<strong>Audrey Nguyen\u00a0<\/strong>finished with a score of 73.9667, ahead of teammates\u00a0<strong>Chesnie Cheung\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>Kaitlyn Hoang\u00a0<\/strong>with 72.6 points.
