That&#8217;s Lacroix&#8217;s third Olympic team.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Katerine Savard<\/strong>, who made the Olympic team via the 800 free relay earlier in the week, finished second in 2:10.82. \u00a0That was not strong enough to punch her ticket to Rio in this event.<\/p>\n<div class=\"fb-video\" data-allowfullscreen=\"true\" data-href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/SwimmingWorld\/videos\/10154180171103606\/\" style=\"background-color: #fff; display: inline-block;\"><\/div>\n<p><strong>Sophie Marois<\/strong> placed third overall in 2:14.47, while <strong>Jacomie Strydom<\/strong> wound up fourth in 2:14.50.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Men&#8217;s 100 free<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Santo Condorelli<\/strong> raced his way onto the 2016 Rio Olympic squad with a 48.16 in the 100 free. \u00a0That was off his earlier time of 48.09 that ranks him seventh in the world, but was enough to secure an Olympic spot.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Yuri Kisil<\/strong> will join him in the individual event after clocking a FINA A cut time of 48.58.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Markus Thormeyer<\/strong> (49.38) and <strong>Evan Van Moerkerke<\/strong> (49.75) put themselves in position for potential 400 free relay duty by taking third and fourth.<\/p>\n<div class=\"fb-video\" data-allowfullscreen=\"true\" data-href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/SwimmingWorld\/videos\/10154180194348606\/\" style=\"background-color: #fff; display: inline-block;\"><\/div>\n<p><strong>Mirando Jarry<\/strong> (49.94) and <strong>Karl Krug<\/strong> (49.97) placed fifth and sixth as the only other sub-50s of the night.<\/p>\n<div class=\"fb-video\" data-allowfullscreen=\"true\" data-href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/SwimmingWorld\/videos\/10154180182208606\/\" style=\"background-color: #fff; display: inline-block;\"><\/div>\n<p><strong>Women&#8217;s 200 IM<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Sydney Pickrem<\/strong> grabbed the national title in the women&#8217;s 200 IM as she also clinched a second spot on the Olympic team with a 2:11.81. \u00a0That moved her to 11th in the world rankings.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Erika Seltenreich-Hodgson<\/strong> raced her way to second with a 2:12.47 that also beat the FINA A cut of 2:14.26 to clinch the second spot on the Olympic roster.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Kylie Masse<\/strong> (2:13.73) and <strong>Sarah Darcel<\/strong> (2:14.93) finished third and fourth behind the top two finishers.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Women&#8217;s 50 fly PARA<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Tammy Cunningham<\/strong> downed her own world record in the S4 division of the 50 fly with a time of 52.90. \u00a0This morning she posted a 53.10 that destroyed her previous world mark of 56.14 from 2015.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sarah Mehain<\/strong> topped everyone with a 37.89 in the S7 division. \u00a0<strong>Tara-Anne D&#8217;Souza<\/strong> clocked a 57.23 in the S6 division, while <strong>Valerie Drapeau<\/strong> put up a 1:25.87 in the S5 division.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Men&#8217;s 50 fly PARA<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Jean-Mic Lavalliere<\/strong> won the finale in 33.64 from the S7 division. \u00a0<strong>Nathan Clement<\/strong> took second in a time of 34.28 out of the S6 division. \u00a0<strong>Kyle McMahon<\/strong> claimed third in 38.79 from S7 division.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Danial Murphy<\/strong> led the S5 division with a 47.87, while <strong>Riley McLean<\/strong> posted an S4 division swim of 1:00.45.<\/p>\n<p><strong>SCHEDULED EVENTS<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Women&#8217;s 100 fly PARA<\/li>\n<li>Men&#8217;s 100 fly PARA<\/li>\n<li>Women&#8217;s 200 fly<\/li>\n<li>Men&#8217;s 100 free<\/li>\n<li>Women&#8217;s 200 IM<\/li>\n<li>Women&#8217;s 50 fly PARA<\/li>\n<li>Men&#8217;s 50 fly PARA<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Everything you need to follow along with finals\u00a0of day four\u00a0of the 2016 Canadian Olympic and Paralympic Swimming Trials.
