{"id":193182,"date":"2016-04-02T16:51:17","date_gmt":"2016-04-02T23:51:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/?p=193182"},"modified":"2016-04-02T16:52:40","modified_gmt":"2016-04-02T23:52:40","slug":"alexandra-norris-among-more-trials-qualifiers-at-speedo-sectionals-geneva","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/alexandra-norris-among-more-trials-qualifiers-at-speedo-sectionals-geneva\/","title":{"rendered":"Alexandra Norris Among More Trials Qualifiers at Speedo Sectionals Geneva"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Alexandra Norris<\/strong>\u00a0was among another strong set of Olympic Trials qualifiers today at the Speedo Sectionals in Geneva.<\/p>\n<p>The top four swimmers in the men&#8217;s 100-meter back cleared the Olympic Trials cut of 57.19. \u00a0<strong>Bryce Bohman<\/strong> (55.55), <strong>Joseph Lane<\/strong> (56.46), <strong>James Beckman<\/strong> (56.83) and <strong>Kyle Maas<\/strong> (56.90) all cleared the cut.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Grace Haskett<\/strong> cleared the women&#8217;s 100-meter back Olympic Trials cut with a 1:02.99. \u00a0<strong>Rachel Matsumara<\/strong> (1:04.02) and <strong>Halime Zeren<\/strong> (1:04.08) finished second and third in the event.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Alexandra Norris<\/strong> just barely cleared the Trials cut in the women&#8217;s 400-meter free with a 4:17.91. \u00a0<strong>Diana Dunn<\/strong> (4:19.83) and <strong>Olivia Johnson<\/strong> (4:25.70) placed second and third.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Adam Destrampe<\/strong> picked up a Trials cut in the men&#8217;s 400-meter free with a 3:57.80. \u00a0<strong>Matt Anderson<\/strong> (3:58.92) and <strong>Andrej Ivanovic<\/strong> (4:02.63) claimed second and third.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Laura Lindsay<\/strong> hit the wall in 1:10.41 to beat the Trials cut in the women&#8217;s 100-meter breast. \u00a0<strong>Laura Morley<\/strong> (1:11.83) and <strong>Hanna Gresser<\/strong> (1:11.91) rounded out the top three.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Armand Apa<\/strong> clocked a 1:03.44 to post a Trials cut in the men&#8217;s 100-meter breast. \u00a0<strong>Jayson Hansen<\/strong> (1:03.92) and <strong>William Schrensky<\/strong> (1:04.31) took second and third.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Reagan Cook<\/strong> (2:16.92), <strong>Olivia Barker<\/strong> (2:18.77) and <strong>Nicole Pape<\/strong> (2:20.77) went 1-2-3 in the women&#8217;s 200-meter fly.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Matthew Jerden<\/strong> won the men&#8217;s 200-meter fly in 2:05.94 with <strong>Herbert Shackleton<\/strong> (2:07.34) and <strong>Bradley Gibble<\/strong> (2:08.08) finishing second and third.<\/p>\n<p><em>Results on Meet Mobile.<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Alexandra Norris\u00a0was among another strong set of Olympic Trials qualifiers today at the Speedo Sectionals in Geneva.
