JCC Sailfish&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Alexa Kozlina\u00a0<\/strong>out touched\u00a0<strong>Caitlin McNary\u00a0<\/strong>of Nutmeg Aquatics 1:50.71 to 1:50.91 as the two finished second and third.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Auston Ramsay\u00a0<\/strong>of the South Shore YMCA was first to the wall in the men&#8217;s 200 freestyle, finishing in a time of 1:39.57.\u00a0<strong>Jack McIntyre\u00a0<\/strong>of Eastern Express battled for his second podium finish of the weekend, touching in 1:40.70, ahead of Charter Oak&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Joshua Wroblewski\u00a0<\/strong>in 1:40.87.<\/p>\n<p>Westchester&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Sophie Angus\u00a0<\/strong>was well ahead of the field, as the 17 year old won the 100 breaststroke in an impressive 1:01.35.\u00a0<strong>Joelle Vereb\u00a0<\/strong>of 757 finished second in 1:03.37 and Patriot&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Katelyn Walsh\u00a0<\/strong>rounded out the top three in 1:03.44.<\/p>\n<p>Vereb came back one event later, where she topped the podium with a 54.51 100 butterfly. Her teammate\u00a0<strong>Sofia Long\u00a0<\/strong>tied for second\u00a0in 55.62 with Mount Lebanon&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Trinity Ward<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The top three finishers in the men&#8217;s 100 breaststroke all cracked the 56 second marker.\u00a0<strong>Eric Tong\u00a0<\/strong>of X-Cel was first with a 55.48.\u00a0<strong>Dillon Hillis\u00a0<\/strong>of Manhattan Makos, and\u00a0<strong>Evan Zhang\u00a0<\/strong>of Laguardia Aquatic Club were just behind in 55.81 and 55.83.<\/p>\n<p>In the next event, the 100 butterfly, Hillis finished third with a time of 49.65. Phoenix Aquatic Club&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Matthew Zugibe\u00a0<\/strong>led the way with a winning time of 48.98. Blue Wave&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Stephen Clendenin\u00a0<\/strong>was second in 49.45.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Colby Hurt\u00a0<\/strong>of 757 absolutely dominated the women&#8217;s 400 IM. The 14 year old touched in 4:17.43, nine seconds ahead of second place finisher\u00a0<strong>Maddie Heilbrun\u00a0<\/strong>of Nation&#8217;s Capital (4:26.62). Laguardia&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Vanessa Chong\u00a0<\/strong>touched third in 4:28.36.<\/p>\n<p>Jersey Flyer&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Jason Arthur\u00a0<\/strong>won a close men&#8217;s 400 IM, finishing in 3:53.68 to McIntyre&#8217;s 3:53.96. Matchpoint&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Oleksandr Bezuglyy\u00a0<\/strong>finished third in 3:54.52.<\/p>\n<p>757 won the women&#8217;s 800 freestyle relay in 7:35.22 with the team of Vereb,\u00a0<strong>Carter Roehrle<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Sofia Long<\/strong>, and Hurt. Nation&#8217;s Capital&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Allison Macmillan<\/strong>, Heilbrun,\u00a0<strong>Caroline Rhodes<\/strong>, and\u00a0<strong>Erin Quinn\u00a0<\/strong>finished second in 7:37.65.\u00a0Western Connecticut YMCA was third in 7:39.03 with the team of\u00a0<strong>Mary Hufziger<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Kira Page<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Amelia Wootton<\/strong>, and\u00a0<strong>Rachel Brown<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The men&#8217;s 800 freestyle relay went to Eastern Express after the team of\u00a0<strong>Connor Doyle<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Jacob Lubinski<\/strong>, McIntyre, and\u00a0<strong>Collin Hanlon\u00a0<\/strong>finished in 6:43.34. Nation&#8217;s Capital&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Ian Vollmer<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Hugh Robey<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Brock Cudahy<\/strong>, and\u00a0<strong>Steven Thalblum\u00a0<\/strong>finished second in 6:55.25. South Shore YMCA was third in 6:57.66 with the team of\u00a0<strong>Graham Barrett<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Auston Ramsay<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Nicholas Toepfer<\/strong>, and\u00a0<strong>Henry Mooers<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>At the end of night two, Eastern Express leads the men&#8217;s standings with 102.5 points, well ahead of second place Matchpoint with 55.
