The meet is being hosted by Poseidon Swimming and is a long course meter competition.<\/p>\n<p>As the countdown to Rio continues, swimmers of all ages are looking to secure at spot at Olympic trials this June. In the men&#8217;s competition, 25 year-old <strong>Brendan McHugh<\/strong> of Greater Philadelphia Aquatics is seeded first in the 100 and 200 breaststroke. McHugh is a member of the U.S. National Team and current U.S. Open record holder in the 50 meter breaststroke.<\/p>\n<p>In the sprint freestyle events, there will be strong competition between Arlington&#8217;s <strong>Ryan Baker<\/strong> who is first in the 100 free and second in the 50 and 200 freestyle and <strong>Jake Sannem<\/strong> of Upper Dublin, who is first in the 200 free, second in the 400 free and third in the 100 free. In the 400 and 800 freestyle, it is <strong>Arthur Markley<\/strong> of Lancaster with the fastest entry time.<\/p>\n<p>Eagle Swim Team&#8217;s <strong>Benjamin Skopic<\/strong> has the quickest entry times in the 200 and 400 Individula Medley events, but has competition close behind in both events.<\/p>\n<p>To start\u00a0the women&#8217;s meet, the 800 free is\u00a0the first event with 14-year-old <strong>Madelyn Donohoe <\/strong>of Fish is entered with the fastest time with an Olympic qualifying time. Donohoe is also seeded first in the 1500 free, third in the 200 free and second in the 400 free.<\/p>\n<p>In the shorter freestyle events,\u00a0<strong>Casey Fanz<\/strong> of Poseidon Swimming is seeded first in both the 50 and 100 freestyle events, she has Olympic trials qualification times in both.
