2016 NCAA Division I Men&#8217;s Championships.<\/p>\n<p>Bilis put up a time of 41.59 to lead prelims. \u00a0He&#8217;s looking to become the first individual champion for NC State since <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/mens-ncaa-div-i-championships-finals-cullen-jones-sizzles-takes-the-50-free\/\" target=\"_blank\">Olympic gold medalist <strong>Cullen Jones<\/strong> won the 50 free in 2006<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Bilis will have his hands full in finals as Florida&#8217;s Caeleb Dressel cruised to the second seed in 41.73. \u00a0Dressel set the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/caeleb-dressel-posts-american-record-unloads-3rd-fastest-100-free-ever\/\" target=\"_blank\">American record in the 100 free just last month with
