time, while NC State led the way in the men&#8217;s 200-yard free relay qualifying at the 2016 NCAA Division I Men&#8217;s Championships.<\/p>\n<p>NC State&#8217;s <strong>Simonas Bilis<\/strong> (18.76), <strong>Ryan Held<\/strong> (18.65), <strong>Joe Bonk<\/strong> (19.45) and <strong>Andreas Schiellerup<\/strong> (18.89) raced their way to the top seed in 1:15.75. \u00a0Bilis moved up to ninth all time in the men&#8217;s 50 free with that leadoff.<\/p>\n<p>NC State is looking to win its first NCAA relay title in team history. \u00a0The team has some time to drop, however, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/ncaa-mens-division-i-championships-auburn-claims-ncaa-record-to-win-200-free-relay-nathan-adrian-clocks-american-record-leadoff-texas-sets-american-record-on-demand-video-available\/\" target=\"_blank\">to break the NCAA record of 1:14.08 set by Auburn during the techsuit-fueled 2009 NCAA Championships<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Texas&#8217; <strong>Matt Ellis, Brett Ringgold, Jack Conger and John Murray<\/strong> raced their way to the second seed in 1:15.84. \u00a0The Longhorns are looking for their sixth victory in this event&#8217;s history. \u00a0They trail only Auburn (9) and Stanford (9) for the most program victories.<\/p>\n<p>Dressel, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/caeleb-dressel-stuns-swimming-world-with-18-23-ncaa-american-record-50-free\/\" target=\"_blank\">who set the NCAA and American record with an 18.23 during the Southeastern Conference Championships<\/a>, turned in a blistering 18.32 to lead the way for Florida. \u00a0That&#8217;s the second-fastest 50 free ever. \u00a0Dressel, <strong>Corey Main, Mark Szaranek and Jack Blyzinskyj<\/strong> qualified third in 1:16.25.<\/p>\n<p><strong>All Time 50 Free
