The men&#8217;s and women&#8217;s 100 free, 500 free, 100 back, 100 breast and 400 free relay were swam. The women&#8217;s 400 free relay PIAA record was broken. Grove City won the meet for the men and<\/p>\n<h2>Men&#8217;s Meet<\/h2>\n<p>In the 100 freestyle, Salisbury&#8217;s <strong>Mahlon Reihman<\/strong> won the event with a 45.58. Touching the wall in a 46.03 for the silver was Allentown&#8217;s <strong>Gabe Castano<\/strong> and in third place was <strong>Matthew Kwalick<\/strong> from Quaker Valley with a 47.16.<\/p>\n<p>Manheim Central&#8217;s <strong>Matthew Daniel<\/strong> went a 4:32.57 for the gold in the 500 freestyle. <strong>Kevin Basch<\/strong> of Pottsgrove was second with a 4:34.79 and in third place with a 4:37.82 was Lower Moreland&#8217;s <strong>Connor Killion<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Austin Wilson<\/strong> won the 100 backstroke with a 49.18 for Grove City. Wyomissing&#8217;s <strong>Nathan Elzer<\/strong> took the silver with a 51.65 and for the bronze <strong>Owen Robinson<\/strong> of Calvary Christian went a 51.76.<\/p>\n<p>In the 100 breaststroke, <strong>Jonah Crawford<\/strong> went a 58.16 for first place on the podium. In a close second place was Quaker Valley&#8217;s <strong>Kyle Hrabovsky<\/strong> with a 58.19 and the bronze medal went to <strong>Jarod Anderson<\/strong> with a 58.58 for Big Spring.<\/p>\n<p>Grove City won the 400 free relay with a 3:10.08 and their team of <strong>Marcus Swartfager<\/strong> (47.30), <strong>Ben McKnight<\/strong> (48.69), <strong>Devin Reynolds<\/strong> (48.96) and Wilson (45.13). Trinity took silver (3:11.85) with <strong>Zack Gallagher<\/strong> (50.09), <strong>Andy Snyder<\/strong> (47.78), <strong>Lucas Haywood<\/strong> (47.57) and <strong>Jordan Wyant<\/strong> (46.41). Quaker Valley finished third in the time of 3:14.87 and the squad of Kwalick (47.15), Hrabovsky (49.56), <strong>Evan Ragoowansi<\/strong> (51.02) and <strong>Harry Harkins<\/strong> (47.14).<\/p>\n<p>Top 10 Men&#8217;s Team Scores<\/p>\n<p>1 GROVE CITY 212<br \/>\n2 TRINITY 151<br \/>\n3 QUAKER VALLEY 143<br \/>\n4 BIG SPRING 110<br \/>\n5 BOILING SPRINGS 104<br \/>\n6 WYOMISSING 85<br \/>\n7 LOWER MORELAND 83<br \/>\n8 YORK SUBURBAN 73<br \/>\n8 SALISBURY 73<br \/>\n10 CLEARFIELD 70<\/p>\n<h2>Women&#8217;s Meet<\/h2>\n<p>Geibel Catholic&#8217;s Emily Zimcosky won the women&#8217;s 100 freestyle with a 49.96. In second place was Hannah Blaser Gwynedd Mercy Academy with a 50.60 and with a 50.70 was Taylor Petrak of Ellwood City for bronze.<\/p>\n<p>In the 500 free <strong>Bailey Bonnett<\/strong> of Highlands took gold with a 4:52.00.\u00a0Gwynedd Mercy Academy <strong>Stephanie Szekely<\/strong> went a 4:56.05 for the silver and in a close third place was <strong>Hannah Schlegel<\/strong> of Twin Valley with a 4:56.12.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Allie Szekely<\/strong> of Gwynedd Mercy Academy won the women&#8217;s 100 backstroke in the time of 53.93. <strong>Emily Cornell<\/strong> of Villa Maria Academy came in second place with a 55.27 and in third with the time of 57.60 was St. Joseph&#8217;s <strong>Sabrina Bowman<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>In the 100 breastroke <strong>Abby German<\/strong> of Fairview clocked in at a 1:02.48 for first place on the podium. <strong>Emily Glinecke<\/strong> of Pottsgrove was right behind with a 1:02.55 for silver and finishing third was <strong>Brooke Zukowski<\/strong> of Knoch (1:03.13).<\/p>\n<p>Gwynedd Mercy Academy won the women&#8217;s 400 freestyle relay with their team of <strong>Hannah Blaser<\/strong> (51.42), <strong>Annie O&#8217;Dare<\/strong> (53.05), S. Szekely (52.39) and A. Szekely (50.83). They finished in a 3:27.69, taking gold and breaking the previous PIAA record of 3:28.90. Shady Side Academy came in second (3:33.01) with <strong>Ashley Azzarello<\/strong> (53.56), <strong>Caroline Colville<\/strong> (54.23), <strong>Meredith Cummings<\/strong> (53.29) and <strong>Lindsay Grune<\/strong> (51.93).
