Nation&#8217;s Capital&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Samuel Pomajevich\u00a0<\/strong>finished a close second with a time of 1:51.80 and earned a new OT cut. Third was\u00a0<strong>Samuel Steele<\/strong> with a time of 1:51.92.<\/p>\n<p>Aroesty continued her breaststroke dominance with a stunning performance in the women&#8217;s 50 breaststroke, posting a final time of 31.79. New Trier&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Ingrid Wall<\/strong> posted the second fastest time of the event with a time of 32.01, while\u00a0<strong>Halle Morris\u00a0<\/strong>of North Bay took third with a 32.31.<\/p>\n<p>Despite a strong lead from Drabot at the halfway mark, Aroesty turned on the heat during the breaststroke leg of the 400 IM to surge ahead and claim the first double of the night with a final time of 4:48.29. Northern Kentucky Clippers&#8217;\u00a0<strong>Mikayla Herich<\/strong> turned in a time of 4:52.20 to edge Drabot to third with a time of 4:52.56.<\/p>\n<p>Andrew and fellow 16-year-old breaststroke superstar\u00a0<strong>Reece Whitley\u00a0<\/strong>went head-to-head in the men&#8217;s 50 breaststroke. Andrew pulled ahead to claim the gold with a time of 27.89 over Whitley&#8217;s 28.28.\u00a0<strong>Jacob Montague<\/strong> grabbed third with a 28.45 to be the only under swimmer under 29-seconds.<\/p>\n<p>Dashing to his third straight individual win was Andrew, stopping the clock at 23.92 to be the only athlete under the 24-second mark.\u00a0<strong>Camden Murphy<\/strong> cruised to second with a time of 24.42 and\u00a0<strong>Dean Farris\u00a0<\/strong>rounded out the top three with a time of 24.63.<\/p>\n<p>NOVA&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Charles Swanson<\/strong> soared to first in the men&#8217;s 400 IM, posting a sizzling time of 4:19.93 to demolish the field. Teammate\u00a0<strong>Frederick Schubert<\/strong> slipped to second with a final time of 4:26.31.
