Division I Women&#8217;s Championships.<\/p>\n<p>Worrell clocked a scorching 49.25 after already putting up <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/kelsi-worrell-unleashes-20-84-free-split\/\" target=\"_blank\">a second-ranked 20.84 50 free split earlier in the day<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The 49.25 cleared her previous record of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/2015-ncaa-division-i-womens-championships-georgia-california-setup-night-1-duel\/\" target=\"_blank\">49.56 from Louisville&#8217;s 400 medley relay during the 2015 NCAA Championships<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Original 400 medley relay report:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Stanford picked up the top seed out of the medley relay prelims this morning with <strong>Janet Hu<\/strong> (51.19), <strong>Sarah Haase<\/strong> (57.89),<strong> Lindsey Engel<\/strong> (51.08) and <strong>Ella Eastin<\/strong> (47.94) racing their way to a 3:28.10 for the win.<\/p>\n<p>Stanford is looking to add to its NCAA-record 11 wins in this event at NCAAs.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Previous Stanford Wins:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>1987 Stanford tonight, it would give the Cardinal their first three-year streak since winning four straight from 1990-93.<\/p>\n<p>Louisville&#8217;s <strong>Alina Kendzior<\/strong> (53.06), <strong>Andee Cottrell<\/strong> (58.09), <strong>Kelsi Worrell<\/strong> (49.25) and <strong>Mallory Comerford<\/strong> (47.84) qualified second in 3:28.24. \u00a0On the opposite end of the spectrum from Stanford, Louisville is looking for its first relay title in program history after Worrell delivered the team&#8217;s first individual titles with a 100-200 fly sweep last year.<\/p>\n<p>Indiana&#8217;s <strong>Marie Chamberlain<\/strong> (52.75), <strong>Lilly King<\/strong> (56.82), <strong>Gia Dalesandro<\/strong> (52.23) and <strong>Kennedy Goss<\/strong> (48.05) qualified third with a 3:29.85, largely thanks to the smoking breaststroke split by King, who is a favorite to win an NCAA individual breaststroke title this week.<\/p>\n<p>Georgia (3:29.89), USA (3:29.89), Virginia (3:30.00), Arizona (3:30.07) and Missouri (3:30.55) also earned spots in the championship final.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Courtney Bartholomew<\/strong> had an impressive 50.60 backstroke
