With Texas having to scratch someone due to a full roster, the Longhorns yanked\u00a0PJ Dunne<\/strong>. \u00a0Meanwhile, Tennessee’s Evan Pinion<\/strong> pulled out of the meet due to medical issues.<\/p>\n Ohio State’s Dustin Tynes<\/strong>, the first alternate, has been added to the 2016 NCAA Division I Men’s Championships with his 100-yard breast B cut of 52.93.<\/p>\n Tynes finished 10th in the 100 breast (52.93), 11th in the 200 breast (1:57.76) and 54th in the 200 IM (1:51.19) at the 2016 Big Ten Championships<\/p>\n Tynes came to Ohio State after attending The Baylor School in Chattanooga, Tenn. He is a member of the Bahamas National Team, and has competed for that country at the Commonwealth Games, Youth Olympic Games and FINA World Junior Championships.<\/p>\n Duke’s James Peek<\/strong>\u00a0also made it into the meet with a 50-yard free B cut time of 19.54. \u00a0Peek, who already had been planning on coming to the meet as a relay alternate for Duke’s 200-yard medley relay, now gets to swim in both the 50-yard free and 100-yard free.<\/p>\n According to Duke’s press release:<\/p>\n Peek\u00a0was one-one hundredth of a second off of the original invite list for the 50 freestyle with a season-best time of 19.54, and will enter the championship seeded 30th in the event. Peek also surpassed the NCAA provisional standard in the 100 freestyle during the year with a 43.53 clocking at the ACC Championship.<\/p>\n Peek was fifth in the 50 freestyle at last month\u2019s conference championship after breaking the program record in the event twice during the meet.
