NCAP’s Katie Ledecky<\/strong> pulled off an unconventional double for the best distance swimmer of all time.<\/p>\n

At the 2016 Arena Pro Swim Series Orlando, Ledecky turned in an lifetime best in the 200 IM and took third in the 100 free.<\/p>\n

Stanford’s Maya DiRado<\/strong> won her third title of the meet with a sizzler in the women’s 200-meter IM at the 2016 Arena Pro Swim Series Orlando.<\/p>\n

DiRado hit the wall in a scorching 2:10.77 to move to third in the world behind Katinka Hosszu’s<\/strong> 2:07.69 from earlier today<\/a> and Sakiko Shimizu’s<\/strong> second-ranked 2:10.51. \u00a0DiRado’s previous best this year had been her prelim 2:13.65.<\/p>\n

Saint Petersburg’s Melanie Margalis<\/strong> raced her way into second in the finale with a time of 2:11.72 to move to third in the world, while BlueFish’s Elizabeth Beisel<\/strong> took third in 2:12.43 for seventh in the world rankings in what was a truly fast final heat.<\/p>\n

Trojan’s Yuliya Efimova<\/strong>, a breaststroke specialist, even moved into the action with a fourth-place 2:12.96 to move into the top 15.<\/p>\n

NCAP’s Katie Ledecky<\/strong> smashed her lifetime best of 2:15.10 with a 2:14.36 for fifth overall.<\/p>\n

Vietnam’s Vien Nguyen<\/strong> (2:16.36), Gator’s Hilda Luthersdottir<\/strong> (2:16.93) and Irish’s Emma Reaney<\/strong> (2:17.50) also competed in the finale.<\/p>\n

SSST’s Stina Gardell<\/strong> won the B final in a time of 2:15.899. \u00a0Theresa Michalak<\/strong> placed second in 2:16.44.<\/p>\n
