USA Swimming announced the 48 swimmers selected for the annual Diversity Select Camp. The program is in its tenth year and will be held in Colorado Springs May 5-8.<\/p>\n

Two-time world champion\u00a0Simone Manuel\u00a0<\/strong>is an alumna of the camp. The swimmers selected are between ages 14 and 16. The camp is held\u00a0at the Olympic Training Center.<\/p>\n

The program targets swimmers from under-represented populations.<\/p>\n

\u201cNational Diversity Select Camp is one of the highlights of the year. What these athletes build over the three days at the Olympic Training Center carries over for the rest of their lives,\u201d said Juan Caraveo<\/strong>, USA Swimming Diversity and Inclusion Consultant, in a USA Swimming Press Release. \u201cWe look forward to working with such a high achieving group for a weekend of technique training and leadership development.\u201d<\/p>\n
