The evening finals started off well for the Tigers.\u00a0Corey Okubo\u00a0<\/strong>took the gold medal in the 200-yard backstroke with a time of 1:43.07. Harvard’s\u00a0Jack Manchester\u00a0<\/strong>took second at 1:43.35, and Cornell’s\u00a0Will Strange\u00a0<\/strong>earned the bronze with a time of 1:43.50.<\/p>\n There was a tie for the championship in the 100-yard freestyle. Pennsylvania’s\u00a0Eric Schultz\u00a0<\/strong>and Princeton’s\u00a0En-Wei Hu-Van Wright\u00a0<\/strong>each touched in 43.19.\u00a0Princeton’s\u00a0Sandy Bole\u00a0<\/strong>earned the bronze with a time of 43.58. The Tigers had four swimmers in the event’s A final.<\/p>\n In the men’s 200-yard breaststroke,\u00a0Alex Evdokimov\u00a0<\/strong>of Cornell posted a strong time of 1:53.56 to take first place. Princeton’s\u00a0Byron Sanborn\u00a0<\/strong>touched second in 1:56.22 and Pennsylvania’s\u00a0Colin McHugh\u00a0<\/strong>earned a third place finish with a time of 1:56.36.<\/p>\n Princeton placed four swimmers in the A final of the 200-yard butterfly. Harvard’s\u00a0Jacob Luna\u00a0<\/strong>took first, however, touching in 1:44.27. The Tiger teammates of\u00a0Okubo and\u00a0Marco Bove\u00a0<\/strong>took second and third, respectively. Okubo touched in 1:44.44 and Bove was third in 1:44.62.<\/p>\n Columbia’s\u00a0Jayden Pantel\u00a0<\/strong>earned a title in the 3-meter diving competition, tallying 371.50 points. Brown’s\u00a0Jonathan Schlafer\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0Noam Altman-Kurosaki\u00a0<\/strong>of Princeton followed.<\/p>\n In the 400-yard freestyle relay, the final event of the meet, Princeton won by over a second. The Tiger team of Wright,\u00a0Julian Mackrel, Ben Schafer\u00a0<\/strong>and Bole posted a time of 2:52.06. Pennsylvania took the second place spot on the podium with a time of 2:53.10.
