NC State still leads heading into the final day,\u00a0followed\u00a0by Louisville and Virginia Tech.<\/p>\n<p>Click <a href=\"http:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/results\/2016-acc-mens-championships-live-results\/ncaa-college\/2016\/February\/24\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a> for live results.<\/p>\n<h2>400 IM<\/h2>\n<p>Virginia Tech&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Robert Owen\u00a0<\/strong>defended his title in the 400 IM, winning in 3:41.08. The junior\u00a0was in second leading into the last 25 of the race, but his monster 51.40 free split got him to the wall first. His time also broke the pool record by .02.<\/p>\n<p>1.\u00a0<strong>Robert Owen\u00a0<\/strong>(3:41.08), Virginia Tech<br \/>\n2.\u00a0<strong>Nolan Tesone\u00a0<\/strong>(3:41.41), Louisville<br \/>\n3.\u00a0<strong>Christian McCurdy\u00a0<\/strong>(3:44.06), NC State<\/p>\n<p>NC State&#8217;s <strong>Anton Ipsen\u00a0<\/strong>won the B-Final in 3:45.86\u00a0and Notre Dame&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Kevin Bradley\u00a0<\/strong>dominated the C-Final in 3:47.68.<\/p>\n<h2>100 Fly<\/h2>\n<p>North Carolina&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Sam Lewis,\u00a0<\/strong>who finished third last year in this event, was the only swimmer under 46 seconds. The senior won in 45.77.<\/p>\n<p>1.\u00a0<strong>Sam Lewis\u00a0<\/strong>(45.77), North Carolina<br \/>\n2.\u00a0<strong>Justin Plaschka\u00a0<\/strong>(46.37), Notre Dame<br \/>\n3.\u00a0<strong>Pedro Coutinho\u00a0<\/strong>(46.46), Louisville<\/p>\n<p>NC State&#8217;s <strong>Jason Deana\u00a0<\/strong>took the B-Final in 47.05\u00a0and Virginia Tech&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Brent Benedict\u00a0<\/strong>won the C-Final in 47.76.<\/p>\n<h2>200 Free<\/h2>\n<p>NC State went 1-2-3 in the event, led by\u00a0<strong>Simonas Bilis\u00a0<\/strong>in 1:32.46. The senior broke the pool record of 1:32.83 set by\u00a0<strong>Nathan Adrian\u00a0<\/strong>in 2014, and was .01 shy of the ACC meet and conference record. This is the second-straight year the Wolfpack\u00a0has swept the event.<\/p>\n<p>1.\u00a0<strong>Simonas Bilis\u00a0<\/strong>(1:32.46), NC State<br \/>\n2.\u00a0<strong>Soeren Dahl\u00a0<\/strong>(1:32.88), NC State<br \/>\n3.\u00a0<strong>Ryan Held\u00a0<\/strong>(1:32.97), NC State<\/p>\n<p>Virginia&#8217;s <strong>Luke Georgiadis\u00a0<\/strong>won the B-Final in 1:36.16 and\u00a0North Carolina&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Logan Heck\u00a0<\/strong>took the C-Final in 1:36.98.<\/p>\n<h2>100 Breast<\/h2>\n<p>NC State&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Derek Hren\u00a0<\/strong>out touched top seed\u00a0<strong>Brandon Fiala\u00a0<\/strong>by .01 to take the win in 52.27. This is the junior&#8217;s first individual ACC title after finishing second in this event last year.<\/p>\n<p>1.\u00a0<strong>Derek Hren\u00a0<\/strong>(52.27), NC State<br \/>\n2.\u00a0<strong>Brandon Fiala\u00a0<\/strong>(52.28), Virginia Tech<br \/>\n3.\u00a0<strong>Carlos Claverie\u00a0<\/strong>(52.41), Louisville<\/p>\n<p>Duke&#8217;s <strong>Dylan Payne\u00a0<\/strong>won the B-Final in 53.44 and\u00a0Pitt&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Nicholas\u00a0Stachel\u00a0<\/strong>claimed the C-Final in 54.37.<\/p>\n<h2>100 Back<\/h2>\n<p>Louisville&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Grigory Tarasevich\u00a0<\/strong>had a strong second half to repeat as the ACC champion in the event, winning in 45.28. The junior broke the ACC conference record set in 2014 by .03, and crushed the meet record.<\/p>\n<p>1.\u00a0<strong>Grigory Tarasevich<\/strong> (45.28), Louisville<br \/>\n2.\u00a0<strong>Andreas Schiellerup\u00a0<\/strong>(45.87), NC State<br \/>\n3. <strong>Hennessey Stuart\u00a0<\/strong>(45.92), NC State<\/p>\n<p>Duke&#8217;s <strong>Max St. George <\/strong>won the B-Final in 47.41 and\u00a0NC State&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>James Bretscher\u00a0<\/strong>won the C-Final in 47.72.<\/p>\n<h2>400 Medley Relay<\/h2>\n<p>Louisville&#8217;s relay of\u00a0Tarasevich<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>(45.81), Claverie (51.97),\u00a0Coutinho (45.45), and Carroll (41.67) won by over one second in 3:04.90. This is their second-straight title in the event.<\/p>\n<p>NC State&#8217;s Staurt (46.43), Hren (51.74), Dahl (45.47), and\u00a0<strong>Joseph Bonk\u00a0<\/strong>(42.61) took second in 3:06.25, and North Carolina&#8217;s <strong>Nicolas\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Graesser<\/strong> (45.85),\u00a0<strong>Kurt Wohlrab\u00a0<\/strong>(53.27), Lewis (45.66), and\u00a0<strong>Logan Heck\u00a0<\/strong>(43.18) finished third in 3:07.96.<\/p>\n<h2>Team Scores<\/h2>\n<p>1.\u00a0NC State-928<br \/>\n2.
