It&#8217;s been quite a meet between No. 1 Stanford, No. 4 USC, and No. 6 California, with these three teams vying for a convincing lead. At the end of day two, USC has a two point lead over Stanford.<\/p>\n<h2>500 Freestyle<\/h2>\n<p>The night opened up with a fantastic showing in the 500 free. USC junior\u00a0<strong>Chelsea Chenault\u00a0<\/strong>took the title with a scorching 4:38.13, over a second faster than what she posted this morning. Second place was secured by the Arizona senior\u00a0<strong>Bonnie Brandon<\/strong> (4:41.77), who just out-touched the Oregon State senior\u00a0<strong>Sammy Harrison<\/strong> (4:41.85). The pair was over two seconds ahead of everyone else in the field, including the third place finisher Kirsten Vose, a freshman from USC (1:55.65). Her 21.32 is only slower than\u00a0<strong>Lara Jackson<\/strong>&#8216;s swim from 2009, which was in a relay. What&#8217;s more, Osman almost even split the race&#8211;she was out in a 10.49 and back in a10.83. The conference title went to the sophomore\u00a0<strong>Gracie Leydon-Mahoney\u00a0<\/strong>with a final score of 379.55. Her senior teammate\u00a0<strong>Alex Clay\u00a0<\/strong>was second with a score of 362.95, while USC freshman\u00a0<strong>Madison Will<\/strong> was third (344.35).
