The Wolverines were not as dominant as usual in the 500 free, but they placed at least two people in each of the swimming events for finals on Thursday night.<\/p>\n<p><strong>PJ Ransford<\/strong>, <strong>Dylan Bosch<\/strong> and <strong>Paul Powers<\/strong> are the top seeds in their respective events as Powers broke the Big Ten record in the 50. Powers will get heat from <strong>Ali Khalafalla<\/strong> of Indiana in the 50 final. Ransford,<strong> Anders Nielsen<\/strong> and Wisconsin&#8217;s <strong>Matt Hutchins<\/strong> are expected to battle it out in the 500, while Bosch, <strong>Pete Brumm<\/strong> and <strong>Evan White<\/strong> will be looking to sweep the 200 IM. Michigan and Indiana both put seven A finalists in the pool but Indiana got the upper hand with a diver in the top eight while Michigan had only one in the B final. This is also the first year that the Big Ten is scoring 24 places.
