Beverly was second and Lincoln-Sudbury took third.<\/p>\n<p>On the men&#8217;s side, St. John&#8217;s Prep took first place with 287 points. Westford took second and Acton-Boxborough was third.<\/p>\n<p>The meet started off in record-setting fashion. Beverly&#8217;s 200-yard medley relay team of backstroker\u00a0<strong>Kaitlin Harty,\u00a0<\/strong>breaststroker\u00a0<strong>Sarah Welch,\u00a0<\/strong>butterflier\u00a0<strong>Andrea Higgins\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0freestyler\u00a0<strong>Grace Athanas\u00a0<\/strong>touched in 1:46.39, tying the state record set in 2014.<\/p>\n<p>Acton-Boxborough won the boy&#8217;s\u00a0event in 1:35.54. The team consisted of\u00a0backstroker\u00a0<strong>Eric Hua,\u00a0<\/strong>breaststroker\u00a0<strong>Brian Dai,\u00a0<\/strong>butterflier\u00a0<strong>David Chen\u00a0<\/strong>and freestyler\u00a0<strong>Corben Miles.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In the 200-yard freestyle, Franklin&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Ashley Loomis\u00a0<\/strong>took first place with a time of 1:51.96 in the girl&#8217;s race. She was followed by Silver Lake&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Madison Milbert\u00a0<\/strong>and Beverly&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Nicole Welch.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Westford&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Jason Jung\u00a0<\/strong>won the boy&#8217;s\u00a0event. He posted a time of 1:40.50 to win by over a second.\u00a0<strong>Kyle Pilachowski<\/strong>, his teammate, was second and Reading&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Kevin Spear\u00a0<\/strong>took third.<\/p>\n<p>Beverly&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Sarah Welch\u00a0<\/strong>won the girl&#8217;s 200-yard individual medley with a time of 2:03.31. Holliston&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Corinne Carbone\u00a0<\/strong>and Westfield&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Kelsey Jonstone\u00a0<\/strong>took second and third, respectively.<\/p>\n<p>In the boy&#8217;s race,\u00a0<strong>Joseph Turk\u00a0<\/strong>of St. John&#8217;s took first in 1:49.13. He was followed by Central Catholic&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Drew Carbone\u00a0<\/strong>and Andover&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Eric Shi.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Katherine O&#8217;Shea\u00a0<\/strong>of Concord-Carlisle took first in the girl&#8217;s 50-yard freestyle. The senior touched in 23.97. Westford sophomore\u00a0<strong>Katherine Pawlak\u00a0<\/strong>was second and Triton&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Maggie Summit\u00a0<\/strong>was third.<\/p>\n<p>It was a record-setting showing in the men&#8217;s event.\u00a0<strong>Corben Miles\u00a0<\/strong>broke his own record with a time of 20.30. He won by over a second. Westford&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Jack Koravos\u00a0<\/strong>and Chelmsford&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>David Cote\u00a0<\/strong>touched in second and third.<\/p>\n<p>In the girl&#8217;s 100-yard butterfly, Harty touched first with a time of 54.69, a meet record. Minnechaug&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Lauren Quinn\u00a0<\/strong>was second and\u00a0<strong>Vivian Nguyen\u00a0<\/strong>of Malden was third.<\/p>\n<p>Central Catholic&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Will Panos\u00a0<\/strong>won the boys event with a time of 50.41. Westford&#8217;s Karavos and Brookline&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Michael Levin\u00a0<\/strong>were second and third.<\/p>\n<p>Sarah Welch picked up another individual win in the women&#8217;s 100-yard freestyle. She touched in 51.12, ahead of O&#8217;Shea and Summit.\u00a0Miles set another meet record, touching the wall in 45.15 in the boy&#8217;s race. Jung and Cote were second and third, respectively.<\/p>\n<p>Loomis dominated the girl&#8217;s 500-yard freestyle. She touched in 4:58.50 to win by seven seconds. Lincoln-Sudbury&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Courtney Brown\u00a0<\/strong>was second and Nicole Belch took third.<\/p>\n<p>Turk took first place in the boy&#8217;s race with a time of 4:36.40. Andover&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Adi Arifovic\u00a0<\/strong>and Pilachowski followed.<\/p>\n<p>Westford set a meet record in the women&#8217;s 200-yard freestyle relay. The team of\u00a0<strong>Katherine Pawlak<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Emily Rudiman, Abby Edison\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>Ali Kea\u00a0<\/strong>touched in 1:37.84. Westford set a state record for the boy&#8217;s with a time of 1:25.15. The team consisted of Jung,\u00a0<strong>Florian Haedicke,\u00a0<\/strong>Pilachowski and Koravos.<\/p>\n<p>Harty set a meet record in the women&#8217;s 100-yard backstroke. She posted a time of 52.78 to win by nearly five seconds. Westford&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Tiffany Tseng\u00a0<\/strong>took second and Silver Lake&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Madison Milbert\u00a0<\/strong>finished in third place.<\/p>\n<p>Central Catholic&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Drew Carbone\u00a0<\/strong>won the boy&#8217;s race in 50.54. He was followed by Attleboro&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>River Wright\u00a0<\/strong>and Westford&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Jeffrey Yao.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Kelsey Johnstone\u00a0<\/strong>of Westfield was first in the girl&#8217;s 100-yard breaststroke. She posted a time of 1:05.50, ahead of Shrewsbury&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Erin Kean\u00a0<\/strong>and Monument Mountain&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Emma Wilber.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Shi won for the men with a time of 56.76. Attleboro&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Dylon Willis\u00a0<\/strong>and Central Catholic&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Will Pannos\u00a0<\/strong>took second and third.<\/p>\n<p>Records were set in both the boy&#8217;s and girl&#8217;s 400-yard freestyle relay.<\/p>\n<p>Sarah Welch, Nicole Welch,\u00a0<strong>Andrea Higgins\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>Kaitlin Harty\u00a0<\/strong>teamed up for Beverly in a meet record time of 3:29.71.
