Swimming campers will receive individual attention.\u00a0 Additional training sessions are offered to all needing to maintain conditioning while at camp.\u00a0 Video analysis, dry land activities designed to improve individual fitness levels, performance, training, goal-setting, leadership presentations and the Severn River boat cruise are all part of the schedule for 2016.<\/p>\n<div>\n<div class=\"shape_13\">\n<div>\n<p class=\"Style5\"><strong>PURPOSE OF THE PROGRAM<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"Style5\">To offer a safe and secure environment for your sons and daughters.\u00a0 To provide excellent instruction and training with an emphasis in technique and skill.\u00a0 To provide each swimmer a fun, exciting and enthusiastic environment to come to camp.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<div class=\"shape_14\">\n<p class=\"Style4\">The summer aquatic programs at Navy are designed for competitive swimmers with a minimum of one season of experience in the sport.\u00a0\u00a0At this time, we do not offer a learn to swim program.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>Campers will learn, train and reside in an amazing and unique environment on the grounds of the United States Naval Academy.\u00a0 The Navy camp is led by an experienced <a href=\"http:\/\/www.navyswimmingcamp.com\/coaching-staff.html\" target=\"_blank\">camp staff<\/a> while providing the very best in 24 hour supervision.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Navy Camp Director: Coach Bill Roberts:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Bill Roberts has directed or co-directed Navy Swimming Camp since inception in 1998. Beginning with less than 20 campers, the camp has grown into an annual sold-out event each June. Roberts\u2019 vision for the camp is based on overall athletic improvement. In the water,<em> \u201cnearly everything we do is centered on technical or bio-mechanical improvement.<\/em>\u201d Roberts, with a formal background in education, is an associate professor in Physical Education at the Naval Academy.
