The meet got off to a fast start, as NC State made a statement by winning both relays.<\/p>\n<p>Click <a href=\"http:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/results\/2016-acc-mens-championships-live-results\/ncaa-college\/2016\/February\/24\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a> for live results.<\/p>\n<h3>200 Medley Relay<\/h3>\n<p>The NC State relay team of <strong>Hennessey Stuart\u00a0<\/strong>(21.22),\u00a0<strong>Derek Hren\u00a0<\/strong>(23.54),\u00a0<strong>Simonas\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Bilis\u00a0<\/strong>(20.27), and\u00a0<strong>Ryan Held\u00a0<\/strong>(18.16) won the first event of the meet in a time of 1:23.19.\u00a0This is the Wolfpack&#8217;s third-straight ACC title in the event, and their time broke the meet, conference, and pool record of 1:23.78 set by NC State in 2014.<\/p>\n<p>Louisville&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Grigory Tarasevich\u00a0<\/strong>(21.28),\u00a0<strong>Carlos Claverie\u00a0<\/strong>(23.55),\u00a0<strong>Josh Quallen\u00a0<\/strong>(20.51), and\u00a0<strong>Trevor Carroll<\/strong>\u00a0(18.67) took second in 1:24.01. North Carolina&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Nicolas Graesser\u00a0<\/strong>(21.24),\u00a0<strong>Kurt Wohlrab\u00a0<\/strong>(23.78),\u00a0<strong>Sam Lewis\u00a0<\/strong>(20.26), and\u00a0<strong>Logan Heck<\/strong> (19.42) finished third in 1:24.70.<\/p>\n<h3>800 Free Relay<\/h3>\n<p>NC State&#8217;s team of\u00a0Held (1:33.60), Bilis (1:32.63),\u00a0<strong>Justin Ress\u00a0<\/strong>(1:34.33), and\u00a0<strong>Soren Dahl\u00a0<\/strong>(1:32.20) dominated the final relay of the night, winning by over two seconds due to a strong anchor leg by Dahl.\u00a0Their time of\u00a06:12.76 broke their own\u00a0meet record and was just off their own conference record.\u00a0This was their third-straight ACC title in the event.<\/p>\n<p>Louisville&#8217;s Carroll (1:33.63),\u00a0<strong>Matthias Lindenbauer\u00a0<\/strong>(1:33.86), Tarasevich (1:32.39), and\u00a0<strong>Jonathan Zoucha\u00a0<\/strong>(1:35.08) finished second in 6:14.96. Virginia&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Austin Quinn\u00a0<\/strong>(1:35.14),\u00a0<strong>Nicholas Magana\u00a0<\/strong>(1:36.64),\u00a0<strong>Bryce Keblish\u00a0<\/strong>(1:36.33), and\u00a0<strong>Peter Georgiadis\u00a0<\/strong>(1:34.48) took third in 6:22.59.<\/p>\n<h3>Current Team Standings (with diving):<\/h3>\n<p>1. \u00a0Virginia Tech-341<br \/>\n2.
