The Tribe was impressive all weekend, displaying mighty depth, especially on the men&#8217;s side.<\/p>\n<h2>Women&#8217;s Meet<\/h2>\n<p>William and Mary&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Morgan Smith\u00a0<\/strong>opened the night with a distance win. The freshman touched in 16:36.86 to take the 1650. Towson&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Hannah Snyder\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>Ashley Illenye\u00a0<\/strong>finished second and third in 16:44.14 and 16:46.98.<\/p>\n<p>The Tribe continued its winning ways, as\u00a0<strong>Sophie Rittenhouse\u00a0<\/strong>grabbed the 200 backstroke title in 1:56.95.\u00a0<strong>Natalie Obando\u00a0<\/strong>of Towson touched second in 1:57.69. James Madison&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Mary Elizabeth Warhol\u00a0<\/strong>was third (1:58.24).<\/p>\n<p>Two swimmers were under 50 in the 100 freestyle.\u00a0<strong>Jaimie Miller\u00a0<\/strong>of William and Mary led the charge in 49.55, ahead of Delaware&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Morgan Whyte\u00a0<\/strong>in 49.85.\u00a0<strong>Kristen Zielinski\u00a0<\/strong>of JMU rounded out the top three (50.10).<\/p>\n<p>Drexel&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Rachel Bernhardt\u00a0<\/strong>dropped three more seconds from her impressive morning drop\u00a0to win the 200 breaststroke. The junior finished in 2:10.89, well ahead of the rest of the field.\u00a0<strong>Jenna Van Camp\u00a0<\/strong>of Towson out touched\u00a0JMU&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Katie Parker\u00a0<\/strong>2:13.11 to 2:13.16 for second.<\/p>\n<p>William and Mary&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Jessie Ustjanauskas\u00a0<\/strong>wrapped up the individual events with a win in the 200 butterfly. The senior finished in a dominant 1:58.74. Northeastern&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Delaney Lanker\u00a0<\/strong>was second in 2:01.38. The Tribe&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Abby Mack\u00a0<\/strong>was on her heels in 2:01.94.<\/p>\n<p>James Madison won the final event of the weekend. Zielinski,\u00a0<strong>Carli Molano<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Camilla Czulada<\/strong>,\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>Quinn MacMillan\u00a0<\/strong>registered a 3:20.51 to take the 400 freestyle relay. Delaware&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Dominique Montoya<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Alyssa Sanders<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Sarah Braatz<\/strong>, and\u00a0<strong>Morgan Whyte\u00a0<\/strong>finished second (3:22.31). William and Mary rounded out the top three with the squad of Ustjanauskas,\u00a0<strong>Georgie Crompton<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Annie Miller<\/strong>, and Jaimie Miller (3:23.56).<\/p>\n<p>Final team scores:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>William and MAry 731.5<\/li>\n<li>James MAdison 681.5<\/li>\n<li>Towson 515.5<\/li>\n<li>Delaware 458<\/li>\n<li>Northeastern 422.5<\/li>\n<li>UNC Wilmington 278<\/li>\n<li>Drexel 258<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2>Men&#8217;s Meet<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Conrad Zamparello\u00a0<\/strong>of William and Mary won the 1650 in 15:31.99. The sophomore finished just ahead of a very close race for second. Delaware teammates\u00a0<strong>Alex Tooley\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>Cory Camp\u00a0<\/strong>touched second and third in 15:38.26 and 15:39.54.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Will Manion\u00a0<\/strong>came up short of his record, but held on to defend his conference title in the 200 backstroke. The William and Mary senior touched in 1:45.19, ahead of teammate\u00a0<strong>Alex Henderson\u00a0<\/strong>who was third (1:46.74), and Towson&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Dominic Breschi\u00a0<\/strong>who was a very close second (1:45.48).<\/p>\n<p>Drexel senior\u00a0<strong>Joel Berryman\u00a0<\/strong>dropped nearly a second from the morning to set the CAA meet record by one hundredth of a second. Berryman&#8217;s 43.56 eclipsed\u00a0<strong>Sidni Hoxha<\/strong>&#8216;s 2013 meet record. William and Mary&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Billy Russell\u00a0<\/strong>finished second (44.73) while Delaware&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Nicholas Badsky\u00a0<\/strong>grabbed the last spot on the podium (44.81).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Jeremiah O&#8217;Donnell\u00a0<\/strong>of William and Mary won his third and final individual event, touching the wall at 1:57.36 in the 200 breaststroke. UNC Wilmington&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Will Ryan\u00a0<\/strong>finished second (1:59.69).\u00a0<strong>Joseph Brown\u00a0<\/strong>was third for Drexel (2:00.50).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Jack Saunderson\u00a0<\/strong>of Towson set a new CAA meet and open record in the 200 butterfly with a 1:45.02. William and Mary&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Tommy Kealy\u00a0<\/strong>finished second in 1:46.59. Third went to Drexel&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Kyle Lukens\u00a0<\/strong>in 1:46.65.<\/p>\n<p>The Tribe men grabbed one final win in the 400 freestyle relay.\u00a0<strong>Joseph Eiden<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Kyle Neri<\/strong>, Manion, and Russel swam a 2:57.23 for first. Delaware&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Alexander Hillsely<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Tomas Elder<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Andrew Woerth<\/strong>, and\u00a0<strong>Nicholas Badsky\u00a0<\/strong>were also under three minutes in 2:59.71 for second.
