The MIT men also won with, their eighth-straight team championship.<\/p>\n<p>Click <a href=\"http:\/\/web.mit.edu\/afs\/athena.mit.edu\/org\/z\/z-files\/www\/meets\/2016newmac\/\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a> for live results.<\/p>\n<p>Below are the top three finishers in each event.<\/p>\n<h3>Women&#8217;s 1650:<\/h3>\n<p>MIT&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Addie Chambers<\/strong> dominated the women&#8217;s mile, winning by over 17 seconds. The freshman demolished the previous meet record of 17:06.26 and snuck under the league record of 16:59.05, both set back in 2012.<\/p>\n<p>1.\u00a0<strong>Addie Chambers\u00a0<\/strong>(16:55.88), MIT<br \/>\n2.\u00a0<strong>Melissa Orzechowski\u00a0<\/strong>(17:13.83), Clark<br \/>\n3.\u00a0<strong>Cathleen Pruden\u00a0<\/strong>(17:15.78), Mount Holyoke<\/p>\n<h3>Men&#8217;s 1650:<\/h3>\n<p>Another MIT freshman won the men&#8217;s mile, as\u00a0<strong>Josh Graves<\/strong> took the event in 15:33.55, 15 seconds ahead of the rest of the field. His time broke the previous meet record of 15:41.81 set back in 2008.<\/p>\n<p>1.\u00a0<strong>Josh Graves\u00a0<\/strong>(15:33.44), MIT<br \/>\n2.\u00a0<strong>Taylor Rowe\u00a0<\/strong>(15:48.11), Coast Guard<br \/>\n3.\u00a0<strong>Parker Greene\u00a0<\/strong>(16:19.04), MIT<\/p>\n<h3>Women&#8217;s 200 Back:<\/h3>\n<p>MIT&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Veronika Jedryka\u00a0<\/strong>cruised to the win in the 200 back, posting 1:58.97 to win by over five seconds. The MIT sophomore won in 1:48.01, besting his own meet record by .40 as the only swimmer under the 1:50 mark.<\/p>\n<p>1.\u00a0<strong>Dougie Kogut\u00a0<\/strong>(1:48.01), MIT<br \/>\n2.\u00a0<strong>Luke Eure\u00a0<\/strong>(1:50.12), MIT<br \/>\n3.\u00a0<strong>Austin Von Heeringen\u00a0<\/strong>(1:51.83), Springfield<\/p>\n<h3>Women&#8217;s 100 Free:<\/h3>\n<p>After posting the fastest time in the morning to be seeded first in tonight&#8217;s finals, Springfield&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Delaney Dyjak\u00a0<\/strong>delivered, winning in 51.59. The junior dropped over two seconds in the event from her entry time.<\/p>\n<p>1.\u00a0<strong>Delaney Dyjak\u00a0<\/strong>(51.59), Springfield<br \/>\n2.\u00a0<strong>Amanda Wu\u00a0<\/strong>(51.83), MIT<br \/>\n3.\u00a0<strong>Jenna Hayden\u00a0<\/strong>(51.84), Wheaton<\/p>\n<h3>Men&#8217;s 100 Free:<\/h3>\n<p>In the closest race of the night, WPI&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Andrew Bauer<\/strong>\u00a0won in 45.41, out touching the runner up by .02. The sophomore won the 1m tonight, posting a score of 499.85.<\/p>\n<p>1.\u00a0<strong>Maura Sticco-Ivins\u00a0<\/strong>(499.85), Wellesley<br \/>\n2.\u00a0<strong>Morgan Matranga\u00a0<\/strong>(463.05), MIT<br \/>\n3.\u00a0<strong>Melanie Avdoulos\u00a0<\/strong>(461.60), Springfield<\/p>\n<h3>Women&#8217;s 400 Free Relay:<\/h3>\n<p>MIT&#8217;s relay team of Jedryka (51.56), <strong>Margaret Guo<\/strong> (51.92), Chen (51.43), and Wu (50.98) won the final women&#8217;s relay of the meet in 3:25.89, beating the runner-up by nearly four seconds. Their time broke the meet record set by their team last year.<\/p>\n<h3>Men&#8217;s 400 Free Relay:<\/h3>\n<p>MIT&#8217;s relay team of\u00a0<strong>Jeremy Bogle\u00a0<\/strong>(45.52), Kogut (45.34), Tomazin (44.60), and Neubieser (44.34) won the final event of the meet in 2:59.80.
