McGregory clocked a lightning fast time of 59.11, improving her position as the second-fastest swimmer in the event this year. She had posted a time of 59.15 that stood as a world record for a short time at the U.S. Olympic Trials during prelims. Her time completely demolished the meet record of 1:01.51 set by Janie Wagstaff of the Kansas City Blazers back in 1991.<\/p>\n
