freestyle event. \u00a0She clocked a 15:49.98 to break the meet and pool records. \u00a0She downed the meet record of 15:51.20 set by Indiana&#8217;s<strong> Lindsay Vrooman<\/strong> back in 2013, while also beating <strong>Ashley Steenvoorden&#8217;s<\/strong> 15:55.78 facility record from 2009.<\/p>\n<p>Michigan had a huge event with a 2-3 finish with Bi Yirong (15:50.56) and Gillian Ryan (15:59.35) downing the Indiana swimmers in the key team-battle races. \u00a0IU&#8217;s Haley Lips settled for fourth in 16:01.67.<\/p>\n<p>Michigan pushed its lead to 970-888.5 against Indiana in the in 1:52.18. \u00a0Ohio State&#8217;s <strong>Halime Zeren<\/strong> finished third in 1:54.52.<\/p>\n<p>Michigan&#8217;s <strong>Gabrielle DeLoof<\/strong> (1:54.71) took fourth, while IU&#8217;s <strong>Marie Chamberlain <\/strong>wound up eighth\u00a0in 1:57.35.<\/p>\n<p>Michigan owned a 1050-968.5 lead after the 200 back. \u00a0Minnesota (682.5), Ohio State (671) and Purdue (571.5) were the in the 100-yard free.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Siobhan Haughey<\/strong> threw down a 47.71 to touchout 50 free winner <strong>Li Zhesi<\/strong> of Ohio State (47.72), as both cleared the NCAA A cut and broke the pool record of 48.08 shared by <strong>Stacy Busack<\/strong> and <strong>Ali DeLoof<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>With her third win, Haughey becomes the first Michigan swimmer to pick up a trio of individual titles since <strong>Kaitlyn Brady<\/strong> in 2006.<\/p>\n<p>DeLoof, meanwhile, took third overall in 47.96. Indiana&#8217;s lone swimmer in the field, <strong>Holly Spears<\/strong>, finished eighth overall in 49.77.<\/p>\n<p>Michigan pushed its lead to 1138-1009.5 against Indiana. \u00a0Ohio State (730), Minnesota (723.5) and Purdue (587.5) comprised the rest of the top five.<\/p>\n<pre><b>                            === A -
