The women&#8217;s 200 free relay and 50 free METS records were broken.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Women&#8217;s Meet<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>LIU Post won the\u00a0women&#8217;s 200 free relay in the time of 1:32.03. With this time the team of<strong> Laura Benfeldt<\/strong> (23.83), <strong>Seren Jones<\/strong> (22.95), <strong>Joyce Kwok<\/strong> (22.81) and <strong>Meghan Brazier<\/strong> (22.44) broke their previous METS record of 1:33.69. The College of New Jersey took silver\u00a0(1:34.15) with\u00a0<strong>Nina Stegu<\/strong>\u00a0(23.83), <strong>Tatiana Shepel<\/strong>\u00a0(23.24),<strong> Alja Tavcar<\/strong>\u00a0(24.13) and <strong>Yekaterina Gakhokidze<\/strong>\u00a0(22.95).Ramapo College of NJ came in for the bronze with a 1:37.73 with the team of<strong> Meghan Trewhella<\/strong> (25.10), <strong>Brenda Arthur<\/strong> (24.53), <strong>Julia Housel<\/strong>\u00a0(24.77) and <strong>Maggie Herbert<\/strong> (23.33).<\/p>\n<p>In the women&#8217;s 500 free Bridgeport&#8217;s <strong>Annagrazia Botsanti<\/strong>\u00a0took gold\u00a0with a 4:48.33. Southern Connecticut&#8217;s <strong>Sydney Fromkin<\/strong>\u00a0went a 5:08.21 for silver and LIU Post&#8217;s <strong>Eline\u00a0Swenson<\/strong>\u00a0went a\u00a05:08.32 for bronze.<\/p>\n<p>Kwok of LIU Post won the\u00a0200 IM with a 2:04.36.\u00a0<strong>Jaimy Taskin<\/strong> from Bridgeport went a 2:07.59 for second place\u00a0and<strong> Karis Fuller<\/strong>, also from LIU Post, finished third in a 2:09.59.<\/p>\n<p>LIU Post&#8217;s Brazier won\u00a0the women&#8217;s 50 free with a 23.02. With this time she broke the previous METS record of 23.04. Bridgeport&#8217;s <strong>Tatiana Shepel<\/strong>\u00a0went a 23.39 for the silver and Ramapo&#8217;s Herbert came in third place with a 23.62.<\/p>\n<p>With a 3:43.15 LIU Post and their team of Jones\u00a0(55.35), <strong>Caitlin Johnstone<\/strong> (1:04.79), Kwok (52.91) and Brazier (50.10) won the women&#8217;s 400 medley relay. Bridgeport&#8217;s team of Gakhokidze\u00a0(55.37), Taskin\u00a0(1:05.64), Stegu\u00a0(57.15) and Shepel (51.45)\u00a0came in second place with a 3:49.61. \u00a0The College of New Jersey came in third (3:59.28) with <strong>Brenna Strollo<\/strong> (58.67), <strong>Marta Lawler<\/strong> (1:08.05), <strong>Debbie Meskin<\/strong> (59.37) and <strong>Lauren Rothstein<\/strong> (52.19).<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Men&#8217;s Meet<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Rowan won the men&#8217;s 200 free relay in a\u00a01:21.33 with the team of <b>Jesse Novak<\/b>\u00a0(19.95), <strong>Anthony Czar<\/strong>\u00a0(20.79), <strong>Nick Marks<\/strong> (20.43) and <strong>Eric Feuerstein<\/strong> \u00a0(20.16). \u00a0Southern Connecticut came in a close second with a 1:21.88 and the team of <strong>Brendan Murphy<\/strong> (20.49), <strong>Tyler Vander Vos<\/strong> (20.30), <strong>Raymond Snyder<\/strong> (20.87) and <strong>Raymond Cswerko<\/strong> (20.22). The College of New Jersey came in third\u00a0(1:22.30) with their team of <strong>Joseph Dunn<\/strong>\u00a0(20.99), <strong>James Shangle<\/strong>\u00a0(20.99), <strong>Ryan Gajdzisz\u00a0<\/strong>(20.25) and <b>Andrew Nesbitt<\/b>\u00a0(20.28).<\/p>\n<p>Bridgeport&#8217;s <strong>Klavio<\/strong><strong>\u00a0Meca\u00a0<\/strong>won the men&#8217;s 500 free tonight with a 4:31.62.\u00a0The College of NJ&#8217;s Gajdzisz took silver\u00a0with a 4:35.40 and\u00a0<strong>Louis Geist<\/strong> of Southern Connecticut came in third place with a 4:37.59.<\/p>\n<p>In the 200 IM <strong>Ivan Capan<\/strong> of Bridgeport took gold\u00a0with a 1:49.02. Rowan&#8217;s <strong>Mikey Simunek<\/strong> went a 1:52.50 for second place and PACE&#8217;s <strong>Nianzhonh Liu<\/strong> went a 1:53.44 for the bronze.<\/p>\n<p>Novak of Rowan won the men&#8217;s 50 free besting his morning time and going a 19.93. The College of NJ&#8217;s Dunn went a 20.44 for silver\u00a0and Bridgeport&#8217;s <strong>Didac Matsuyama<\/strong> took bronze with a 20.70.<\/p>\n<p>Bridgeport won the men&#8217;s 400 medley relay in the time of 3:15.71 and the team of <strong>Brian Kelly<\/strong> (49.00), Capan (54.04), Matsuyama (47.83) and <strong>Will Du Plessis<\/strong> (44.84).
