The women&#8217;s 100 butterfly and 400 medley relay NSISC records were broken.<\/p>\n<h2>Women&#8217;s Meet<\/h2>\n<p>Minnesota State Mankato won the 200 free relay with a 1:24.08 and the team of <strong>Cheyenne Rova<\/strong> (23.69), <strong>Taylor Bass<\/strong> (23.64), <strong>Nicole Bean<\/strong> (23.68) and <strong>Cecilia Hake<\/strong> (23.07). Right behind them was St. Cloud who came in for the silver with a 1:34.33 and the squad of <strong>Julie Schmitt<\/strong> (24.31), <strong>Emily Tiedemann<\/strong> (23.52), <strong>Erin Hart<\/strong> (23.56) and <strong>Andrea Bryson<\/strong> (22.94). Delta State came in third (1:35.83) with <strong>Hannah Core<\/strong> (24.24), <strong>Erin Newman<\/strong> (23.72), <strong>Maria Clara Belisario<\/strong> (24.61) and <strong>Celina Batsel<\/strong> (23.26).<\/p>\n<p>Delta&#8217;s <strong>Melanie Tombers<\/strong> touched at a 4:20.33 winning the\u00a0400 IM tonight. Her teammate <strong>Kierstin Page<\/strong> got second place with a\u00a04:23.76 and West Florida&#8217;s <strong>Madeline Pitt<\/strong> took bronze finishing in a 4:25.49.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Theresa Michalak<\/strong> of West Florida bested her time in the 100 butterfly with a 53.72. With this time she reset the NSISC record she broke this morning. <strong>Peggy de Villiers<\/strong> touched the wall in a 55.22 for second place on the podium and Delta&#8217;s <strong>Anastasia Klyarovskaya<\/strong> took third place with a 56.06.<\/p>\n<p>In the 200 freestyle, St. Cloud&#8217;s Bryson won the event touching the wall at 1:51.59.\u00a0<strong>Rebecca Halfast<\/strong> of West Florida took silver with a 1:52.05 and Bass of Minnesota State Mankato went a 1:52.13 for the bronze.<\/p>\n<p>Delta won the 400 medley relay tonight with\u00a0Klyarovskaya (54.58), <strong>Kristen Stroven<\/strong> (1:02.55), <strong>Danielle Dugas<\/strong> (55.87) and <strong>Chloe Bennett<\/strong> (50.59). They took gold with a 3:43.59 and with this time they broke the previous NSISC record of 3:46.87.\u00a0Minnesota State Mankato came in second place (4:48.73) with Hake (55.35), <strong>Alycia Holwerda<\/strong> (1:04.88), <strong>Kylie Gaeth<\/strong> (57.18) and Rova (51.32).\u00a0Minnesota State Moorhead touched in at a 3:50.22 for third place with the team of <strong>Erin Sullivan<\/strong> (55.71), <strong>Erin Fons<\/strong> (1:04.80), <strong>Annika Bordak<\/strong> (57.61) and<strong> Ashley Higgins<\/strong> (52.10).<\/p>\n<h2>Men&#8217;s Meet<\/h2>\n<p>Delta State won the 200 free relay. <strong>Mattia Schirru<\/strong> (20.24), <strong>Fabrice Wendel<\/strong> (20.05), <strong>Nick Zorn<\/strong> (20.69) and <strong>Matteo Fraschi<\/strong> (20.47) went a 1:21.45 for the gold. It was a close race with St. Cloud who took second place in a 1:21.62 with the team of <strong>Justin Winnett<\/strong> (20.78), <strong>Triston Ferguson<\/strong> (20.29), <strong>Laron Morley<\/strong> (20.49) and <strong>Ike Erickson<\/strong> (20.06). UT Permian Basin came in third (1:25.06) with <strong>Nolan Hines<\/strong> (21.62), <strong>Blake Bloomquist<\/strong> (21.20), <strong>Gustavo Damis Resende<\/strong> (21.19) and <strong>Brandon Hay<\/strong> (21.05).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Cody Lavoie<\/strong> of Delta won\u00a0the men&#8217;s 400 IM tonight with a 3:55.26.\u00a0This teammate <strong>Bryce Anderson<\/strong> took silver with a 3:59.92 and and Henderson&#8217;s <strong>Guy Buls<\/strong> finished in a 4:02.03 for the bronze.<\/p>\n<p>Henderson&#8217;s <strong>Max Pohl<\/strong> won\u00a0the men&#8217;s 100 butterfly with a 48.76. Wendel of Delta came in second place with a 49.15 and Ouachita&#8217;s <strong>Artemii Orekhov<\/strong>\u00a0finished with a 49.63 for bronze.<\/p>\n<p>With a 1:37.87, Delta&#8217;s Schirru won the men&#8217;s 200 freestyle tonight. <strong>Colton Laramore<\/strong> of Henderson took second place with a 1:39.03 and Delta&#8217;s <strong>Dylon Johnson<\/strong> with a 1:40.90.<\/p>\n<p>To finish the session, Delta&#8217;s men won the 400 medley relay. They went a 3:417.24 with the team of Lavoie (50.01), <strong>Alex Peach<\/strong> (54.00), <strong>Max Pendall<\/strong> (49.52) and Schirru (43.71). Henderson came in second (3:18.71) with <strong>Bogdan Pochynok<\/strong> (49.45), <strong>Joshua Lawson<\/strong> (55.49), Pohl (48.33) and <strong>Colton Laramore<\/strong> (45.44).
