MIT asserted their dominance early on, winning all three events.<\/p>\n<p>The MIT relay team of\u00a0<strong>Addie Chambers\u00a0<\/strong>(1:51.94),\u00a0<strong>Theresa Lo\u00a0<\/strong>(1:56.03),\u00a0<strong>Kate Yu\u00a0<\/strong>(1:57.15), and\u00a0<strong>Veronica Jedryka\u00a0<\/strong>(1:51.95) won the women&#8217;s 800 free relay in 7:37.07.<\/p>\n<p>Springfield&#8217;s <strong>Kassandra Lamb\u00a0<\/strong>(1:56.45),\u00a0<strong>Delaney Dyjak\u00a0<\/strong>(1:54.81),\u00a0<strong>Olivia Paione\u00a0<\/strong>(1:54.42), and\u00a0<strong>Callie Phillips\u00a0<\/strong>(1:52.78)\u00a0weren&#8217;t\u00a0too far behind, finishing in 7:38.46.<\/p>\n<p>The MIT men&#8217;s team of\u00a0<strong>Daniel Smith\u00a0<\/strong>(1:41.86),\u00a0<strong>Dougie Kogut\u00a0<\/strong>(1:39.22),\u00a0<strong>Daryl Neubieser\u00a0<\/strong>(1:41.15), and\u00a0<strong>John Matthews\u00a0<\/strong>(1:41.69) won the 800 free relay in 6:43.92.<\/p>\n<p>Coast Guard&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Ross Garrett\u00a0<\/strong>(1:42.50),\u00a0<strong>Dan Moreno\u00a0<\/strong>(1:42.73),\u00a0<strong>Mike Franco\u00a0<\/strong>(1:42.81), and\u00a0<strong>Timothy Dion\u00a0<\/strong>(1:42.82) finished second in 6:50.86.<\/p>\n<p>MIT took the top two spots in the men&#8217;s 1m diving event, and the top three finishers were all freshmen.\u00a0<strong>Jeremy Sands\u00a0<\/strong>won with a score of 457.15, and teammate\u00a0<strong>Elliot Forde<\/strong> dove to second in 442.35. Coast Guard&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Will French\u00a0<\/strong>was third (414.00).<\/p>\n<p>Prelims will begin at 10am EST. Friday&#8217;s action will see the 500 free, 200 IM, 50 free, 200 free relay, 400 medley relay, and women&#8217;s 3m diving.<\/p>\n<h4>Women&#8217;s team scores:<\/h4>\n<p>1. MIT-70<br \/>\n2.
