That time broke her own meet record set earlier this morning, and is the junior&#8217;s\u00a0third straight ACC title in the event.<\/p>\n<p>Louisville freshman\u00a0<strong>Mallory Comerford<\/strong> (4:38.01) knocked over four seconds off her prelim time to finish second.\u00a0NC State&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Hannah Moore\u00a0<\/strong>took third in 4:38.53.<\/p>\n<p>Virginia Tech&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Jessica Hespeler\u00a0<\/strong>(4:41.26) won the B-Final and Louisville&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Marah Pugh<\/strong> (4:44.97) took the C-Final.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Courtney Bartholomew\u00a0<\/strong>grabbed Virginia&#8217;s second win of the night in the 200 IM, touching first with a time of 1:55.63. This is the senior&#8217;s\u00a0seventh individual ACC title in her career.<\/p>\n<p>NC State&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Alexia Zevnik\u00a0<\/strong>took second in the event in 1:56.02. Virginia&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Kaitlyn Jones<\/strong>\u00a0rounded out the top three in 1:56.46.<\/p>\n<p>Louisville&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Alina Kendzior\u00a0<\/strong>(1:57.71) took the B-Final and North Carolina&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Katie Munch\u00a0<\/strong>(2:00.11) won the C-Final.<\/p>\n<p>American record holder\u00a0<strong>Kelsi Worrell<\/strong>\u00a0won the 50 free in 21.85 for Louisville.\u00a0Her time broke the old ACC meet record set last year by .02.<\/p>\n<p>NC State showed their sprint depth by finishing 2-3, with\u00a0<strong>Riki Bonnema\u00a0<\/strong>taking second in 21.94 and teammate\u00a0<strong>Natalie Labonge\u00a0<\/strong>touching third in 22.23.<\/p>\n<p>NC State&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Krista Duffield\u00a0<\/strong>(22.48) won the B-Final and Notre Dame&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Catherine Mulquin\u00a0<\/strong>(22.70) took the C-Final.<\/p>\n<p>The NC State team of\u00a0<strong>Riki Bonnema\u00a0<\/strong>(21.92),\u00a0<strong>Ashlyn Koletic\u00a0<\/strong>(22.06),\u00a0<strong>Natalie Labonge<\/strong>,\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>Krista Duffield<\/strong> dominated the 200 free relay, touching first in 1:27.50. That time broke the ACC conference and meet records set in 2015.<\/p>\n<p>Virginia&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Megan Moroney\u00a0<\/strong>(22.59),\u00a0<strong>Ellen Thomas\u00a0<\/strong>(21.95),\u00a0<strong>Caitlin Cooper\u00a0<\/strong>(21.75), and\u00a0<strong>Courtney Barthlomew\u00a0<\/strong>(22.16) finished second in 1:28.45. North Carolina&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Caroline Baldwin\u00a0<\/strong>(22.50),\u00a0<strong>Sarah Hitchens\u00a0<\/strong>(21.77),\u00a0<strong>Allyn Hardesty\u00a0<\/strong>(22.20), and\u00a0<strong>Laurean Earp\u00a0<\/strong>(22.16) took third in 1:28.63.<\/p>\n<p>Miami&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Briadam Herrera<\/strong> dominated the men&#8217;s 1m diving event, winning with a score of 436.60. North Carolina&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Jack\u00a0<\/strong><b>Nyquist<\/b> (407.95) was second and Pitt&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Dominic Giordano<\/strong> was third (378.35).<\/p>\n<p>Friday prelims will begin at 10am EST with the 400 IM, 100 fly, 200 free, 100 breast, 100 back, and 3m.<\/p>\n<p>Team scores after night two:<\/p>\n<p>1.
