The prelims competition of the men&#8217;s and women&#8217;s 400 IM, 100 butterfly and 200 freestyle were swam. The women&#8217;s 100 butterfly NSISC record was broken.<\/p>\n<h2>Women&#8217;s Meet<\/h2>\n<p>Delta&#8217;s <strong>Melanie Tombers<\/strong> came in at a 4:24.93 in the 400 IM for the fastest time this morning. her teammate <strong>Kierstin Page<\/strong> touched in second with a 4:29.20 and West Florida&#8217;s <strong>Madeline Pitt<\/strong>, who won the 1000 free yesterday, finished third in a 4:31.70.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Theresa Michalak<\/strong> of West Florida had another memorable swim after her record breaking 200 IM last night. Michalak touched the wall first in the women&#8217;s 100 butterfly with a 54.79 this morning. With this time she broke her teammate, <strong>Peggy de Villiers<\/strong>&#8216; NSISC record of 54.84. de Villiers touched the wall second this morning in a 56.36 and close behind was <strong>Kylie Gaeth<\/strong> of Minnesota State Mankato with a 56.73.<\/p>\n<p>In the 200 freestyle, St. Cloud&#8217;s <strong>Andrea Bryson<\/strong> touched the wall first with a 1:50.63; this is only a tenth off of the NSISC record of 1:50.50.\u00a0<strong>Taylor Bass<\/strong> of Minnesota State Mankato went a 1:52.17 for second and right behind her was <strong>Rebecca Halfast<\/strong> of West Florida with a 1:52.46.<\/p>\n<h2>Men&#8217;s Meet<\/h2>\n<p>Yesterday&#8217;s 200 IM winner, <strong>Cody Lavoie<\/strong> of Delta, touched first in the men&#8217;s 400 IM this morning with a 4:00.40. There was a tie for second place this morning in the event. Delta&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Bryce Anderson<\/strong> and Henderson&#8217;s <strong>Guy Buls<\/strong> both went a 4:02.97 to be seeded second going into tonight. Behind them was<strong> David Wray<\/strong> of\u00a0Ouachita with a 4:03.59.<\/p>\n<p>Henderson&#8217;s <strong>Max Pohl<\/strong> touched first this morning in the men&#8217;s 100 butterfly with a 48.45. <strong>Fabrice Wendel<\/strong> of Delta came in second with a 49.30 and Ouachita&#8217;s <strong>Artemii Orekhov<\/strong> finished third this morning with a 49.49.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Colton Laramore<\/strong> of Henderson had the fastetst time of the morning in the men&#8217;s 200 free with a 1:39.91.
