Massachusetts is leading the way for the men, while the Richmond women are atop the leaderboard after day one of the 2016 Atlantic 10 Swimming and Diving Championships.<\/p>\n
Massachusetts is currently in first place on the men\u2019s side with 115 points. Following them in the standings are St. Bonaventure and La Salle (98), Saint Louis and George Washington (70), George Mason (67), Davidson (56) and Fordham (30).<\/p>\n
The UMass men\u2019s team, winners of the 2015 championship, finished first in the 800-yd freestyle relay with a time of 6:32.37. They also finished second in the 200-yd medley relay (1:29.61).<\/p>\n
St. Bonaventure, the 2015 runners-up, finished first in the 200-yd medley relay with an A-10 Conference record time of 1:28.35. The Bonnies finished third in the 800-yd freestyle relay with a time of 6:38.05.<\/p>\n
In the men\u2019s 1-meter dive, La Salle\u2019s Dylan Yurasits took first place with a score of 325.40. St. Bonaventure\u2019s Alex Marra (301.65) and UMass\u2019 Trent Kindvall (285.90) rounded out the top three.<\/p>\n
Richmond leads the way for the women with 74 points. Following them in the standings are Davidson (70), Fordham (58), Rhode Island and George Mason (54), George Washington (50), Saint Louis (48), St. Bonaventure (36), Duquesne (34), La Salle (32) and Massachusetts (24).<\/p>\n
The Spiders, winners of the 2015 championship, finished first in the 200-yd medley relay with a time of 1:40.64. They also finished second in the 800-yd freestyle relay with a time of 7:20.99.<\/p>\n
Davidson took first in the 800-yd freestyle relay by setting an A-10 Conference record time of 7:16.79, and also finished fourth in the 200-yd medley relay (1:42.81).<\/p>\n
The championships resume tomorrow morning with the preliminary events beginning at 10:00 am followed by finals at 6:30 pm.<\/p>\n
