The teams competing this weekend are Delta Sate University, Henderson Sate University, Minnesota Sate University Moorhead, Minnesota Sate Mankato, Northern Sate University, Ouachita Baptist University, St. Cloud State University, University of West Florida and UT-Permian Basin. This morning the prelims of the men&#8217;s and women&#8217;s 200 IM and 50 freestyle were swam.<\/p>\n<p>In the women&#8217;s 200 IM, <strong>Theresa Michalak<\/strong> from West Florida started the meet off strong, going from no entry time, to the fastest swim of the morning. She went a 2:01.64, which is only two one hundredths off of the NSISC record (2:01.62) held by <strong>Anna Macht<\/strong>. Coming in second this morning was Minnesota Sate Mankato&#8217;s <strong>Chelsea Calhoon<\/strong> with a 2:06.31. <strong>Kierstin Page<\/strong> of Delta touched in third with a 2:07.15.<\/p>\n<p>Delta&#8217;s <strong>Cody Levine<\/strong> had the fastest time of the morning in the men&#8217;s 200 IM with a 1:52.55. <strong>Dylan Anderson<\/strong> from Henderson touched in at a 1:53.00 to be seeded second going into tonight and Delta&#8217;s <strong>Matteo Fraschi<\/strong> finished right behind Anderson third with a 1:53.12.<\/p>\n<p>Minnesota Sate Mankato had the top two fastest times this morning in the women&#8217;s 50 free. <strong>Cecelia Hake<\/strong> touched first with a 23.59 and one one hundredth behind her was teammate, <strong>Cheyenne Rova<\/strong> who finished second with a 23.60. West Florida&#8217;s <strong>Peggy de Villiers<\/strong> came in with a 23.64 for third this morning.<\/p>\n<p>Delta State came in first and second in the men&#8217;s 50 free this morning. With a 20.45 <strong>Mattia Schirru<\/strong> had the fastest time of the morning. His teammate <strong>Fabrice Wendel<\/strong> went a 20.58 for second and <strong>Max Pohl<\/strong> of Henderson went a 20.64, touching in third.<\/p>\n<p>Both the men&#8217;s and women&#8217;s 1000 freestyle are being swum as a finals only event, the fastest heat will swim at finals tonight.
