The Rose-Hulman men\u00a0scored 883 points, just beating Carthage College. The Wheaton women wracked up 867 points, winning the meet by over 200 points.<\/p>\n<p>Rose-Hulman&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Ellie Hong\u00a0<\/strong>won the 200-yard backstroke with a time of 2:00.66. Illinois Wesleyan&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Baylee Hoecker\u00a0<\/strong>finished second and\u00a0Augustana&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Allison Patch\u00a0<\/strong>took third. In the men&#8217;s event, Wheaton&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Chris Szymczak\u00a0<\/strong>touched first with a time of 1:48.04. The Carthage teammates of\u00a0<strong>Sam Gabriel\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>Mitch Scarski\u00a0<\/strong>took second and third, respectively.<\/p>\n<p>In the women&#8217;s 100-yard freestyle,\u00a0<strong>Kirsty Nitz\u00a0<\/strong>of Wheaton took first with a time of 51.54. Illinois Wesleyan&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Kirsten Slaughter\u00a0<\/strong>was second and\u00a0Wheaton&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Sarah Coley\u00a0<\/strong>touched third. Wheaton swimmers took the top two spots in the men&#8217;s race.\u00a0<strong>Jack O&#8217;Connor\u00a0<\/strong>touched first with a time of 45.69 and\u00a0<strong>Jacob Clement\u00a0<\/strong>was second. Rose-Hulman&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Orion Martin\u00a0<\/strong>was third.<\/p>\n<p>Wheaton&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Erin Bagley\u00a0<\/strong>touched first in the women&#8217;s 200-yard breaststroke with a time of 2:19.46. Her teammates\u00a0<strong>Kayla Roberson\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>Katie Deysher\u00a0<\/strong>touched second and third. In the men&#8217;s race, Wheaton&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Elliot Penson\u00a0<\/strong>was first with a time of 2:00.86. Carthage&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Chris Riordan\u00a0<\/strong>was second and Rose-Hulman&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Alexander Yaung\u00a0<\/strong>touched third.<\/p>\n<p>The next event was the women&#8217;s 200-yard butterfly. Wheaton&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Nicole Eklund\u00a0<\/strong>took the race with a time of 2:12.67. Milikin&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Caroline Lodovisi\u00a0<\/strong>was second and\u00a0Augustana&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Mia Polinski\u00a0<\/strong>was third. Rose-Hulman&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Patrick King\u00a0<\/strong>won the men&#8217;s race in 1:50.99. Wheaton&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Chris Dingfield\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0Rose-Hulman&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Matt Schulstad\u00a0<\/strong>were second and third, respectively.<\/p>\n<p>The day concluded with the men&#8217;s and women&#8217;s 400-yard freestyle relay.<\/p>\n<p>In the women&#8217;s race, Illinois Wesleyan took first place. The team of\u00a0<strong>Lisa Cheng, Meg Stanley, Baylee Hoecker\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>Kirsten Slaughter\u00a0<\/strong>touched in 3:29.68.<\/p>\n<p>Carthage took the men&#8217;s race in 3:04.59.
